Matt looked up into her eyes and smiled at her. He was more beautiful then his own girlfriend. "Uh! Because everyone knows the new girls name!" He said with a laugh and helped Maple up. "Hi my name is Matt and this is Maple. Welcome!" He said to her.

Maple smiled and wave "Hi,well I'm Maple,sorry about earlier I get touchie with new kids"Inside her inner self wanted to crawl away.She hated being nice to unpopulars as she called them. Only time she would was with Matt and adults. "Also,news speard quickly around school,true or not!"Her voice was gentle and kind trying to fool Matt that this MAple that people saw was nice.

Matt smiled at Shay and turned around to Maple. "Your so nice!" He said to her. He grabbed his stuff and headed to class. Turning back once at Shay.

"I try!"Maple winked heading for her's. 'I really do when I don't want to'She thought and looked to Matt,enraged but him knowing he liked her. 'Cheater'She thought growling inside and entered her first class. She sat in her seat,looking at her nails ignoring everyone right now.Her thoughts kept bring up Matt and Shay.

Matt came threw the door, just in time before the bell rang. He went up to his sit and sat down he looked around and could tell that people were kinda acting weird. Then he looked to his side and saw that it was Shay. He closed up quickly. "Hey Shay didn't know you were in this class." He said in a shy voice.

Matt nodded and smiled at her and saw some friends but didn't talk to them. "Uh! Probably late as usually?" He said to her. Then turned back around to the head of the board.

Matt turned and saw the moon on Shay neck. "Who gave you that necklace?" He asked her. "The moon is such a powerful thing." He explained.

Maple waited and waited,then she thought of her "friends" that would be in the bathroom. "Teacher!I need to go to the ladies' room please!"She yellled "No,Maple I think you can wait"Replied the teacher "But!I need to!"Maple whined soon being able to go.She waited in the rest room and some girls from the popular group came. "Maple,you either need to change your looks or just leave our group,cause no one gets dumped here"Said one leaning on the wall. "What!?"Maple said surprized "What do you mean!?"the girls smirked "Your bf is like so in love with the new girl,lean to kept up with your looks and your bf before being popular,I mean he looks at her and talks to her like he's in live with her,so bye for now!"They waved leaving. Maple grew angry yet sad at the same time,all could do was cry. "I'm pretty enough!I'm popular enoough,and yet the new girl can get my boy friend in a snap!"She growled "I'll show her,Matt can't resit my charm"Maple ploted evily and went back to class.

Matt eyes grew big when he heard of Shay's brother. "I'm sorry for you loss. But like I said the moon is a powerful thing it can change anything and do many things for people." He said to her as he took out a paper and pencil the teacher said. As she started to talk and talk about math. "How did you brother die, May I ask." He wondered.
