The female arccon sighed, but obeyed Emmy. Rita followed after Emmy.

Smudge raised her eyebrow at Streak. "I can tell." She said, looking at Howl and Lance. Maybe.... no.

((Can Emmy uderstand animals talking?))

OOC: Might help with the story, up to Avatarcat but if she's ok with it sure, but if so, I want her to of gotten it from Kassie, meaning she can talk to animals too.

Streek nodded. "What's in smell like to a dog?" he asked.

Lance smiled. "Emmy's such a nice girl." he said to Hikaru. "I'm glad she's here...but I miss her mother too."

Smudge wrinkled her face. "Well, its preety bad." She said. She wasn't lying.

Ooc:// It would be interesting... ^^ So, yeah, she can talk to animals.

Bic:// Hikaru just sighed and nodded in agreement. "It's hard to believe that she getting on without her mother," he added. "And it's been a full year now. How do you think she does it?..."

Emmy looked back at Rita and picked her up, trying to be careful, and carried her into the main center to get her washed. "Poor Streek," she said, setting the raccoon down in a small washing sink. "And poor you! That must've been something, wasn't it?"

OOC: Alright but that means Kassie can talk to animals as well, Emmy has to of got it from someone and our villian doesn't seem like one who would be able to speak to animals.

"Well she does have all of us." said Lance. "That probably helps."

Streek smiled. "I'm glad it stinks, that's the point nature intended isn't it?" he said, to Smudge and Rita. "Isn't that right Emmy?" he asked, like any skunk, he was proud of his defensive stench.

((Mmmhmmm.))

Smudge nodded slowly. "I guess...." Than she looked at Lance. "Yeah, it probably does. Cause she knows we like her, and she likes us." The lab explained. "Still, its hard probably for her. Like when we leave our mother, its instinxs. Were susposts to do it. But for Emmy, its not."

Emmy just smiled and said, "Well, hold still. Hopefully this bath will help you out...not to mention this is only the first time for me." And with that, she just poured in the tomato juice and started looking around for some garlic. "Now where did Mom but those...?" She then turned back to Streek with another smile and a slight giggle. "You've got that right," she replied. "We were all created for a different purpose, even if it meant digging around garbage at night or just smelling so bad."

Hikaru nodded. "Well, that could be true," he replied. "But she's still young. We all had to learn quickly when we were young, but she's just a human. She still needs someone to care for her... I mean, what about her father? Isn't he still around?"

Emmy just smiled back. "Exactly!" She then gently scrubbed Rite top to bottom with tomato and garlic until the skunk smell was overcome by the instant replacement smell. "How does that feel, Rita?" she finally asked after a long while. "Does it feel like the smell is gone now?"

Hikaru suddenly understood and slowly nodded. "Yes," he finally replied. "Of course..." He then turned back to Emmy from the window and tried to imagine her being related to a person like her own father. But...she's so sweet and innocent. How can she have relations with a nasty person like that?
