Garrte gave the two a small wave at their abrunt departure. He shook his head at them. Pack wolves were so strange and orderly, he was surprised that he had once fit into one.
Garret took another swig of his beer to find it empty. He was about to get another when he thought that he had had enough for the night. Besides, he wanted a smooth trip back home on his bike. He tipped his head to the bar tender before heading out back to his motorcylce. He climbed on it and drove out of the lot of Brushbow with the loud purr of his ride.
He wasn't really going anywhere. He was currently at the apartment complex just down the street of Brushbow, but going into his cramped living conditions was not his ideal place right now. All he wanted was the feel of the wind through his hair for just a bit longer...
Luna walked out of the cafe with a sigh. Well, she had a job. But how long could that last? Until they figured out that she didn't live with a friend in a shared apertment and wasn't a high school drop out?
She shoved her hands in her pockets as she made her way down the empty street. She kicked a rock that hit off an alley wall and landed somewhere deep inside the alley's shadows. She leaned against a brick wall and slid down it into a sitting position. She out her head in her hands. It was only at night that she showed how truly vunerable she was.
Where was she going to end up?

Brown paws scraped the dirt path, his sleek fur illuminated by moonlight. His nose to the air, he inhaled deeply, the sweet scent of female drawing him closer to the alleyway.
Raoul was around 6' 2", lean and muscular. He had dark brown hair that slicked back against his neck and amber eyes that glowed like the sun. He lived down the way from the Brushbow, in a small apartment he shared with his pack members. They had fitting rooms, some were dug down in the closets just for space. The place was always clean, no matter what happened.
He snorted and shook his pelt. As a wolf, Raoul was big and muscular, and had a very thick and slick pelt. His eyes changed from amber to ivory during the change, but the slightest scent of blood could make him go berserk. He and Derek had killed 5 tourists that morning, so he wasn't that hungry.
He licked his jaws as he came upon a young female, who smelled lustfully of wolf. "My dear young fae..." he murmered in his lustry voice that was smooth and thick as honey, "Why are you not changed in such beautiful moonlight?" The change of wolf to man ripped through him, and he came back to normal, wrapping a robe of dark brown fur around his body. Sweat glistened on his chest and arms, his claws on his knees as he crouched down beside her.

Luna looked up at the male wolf that had run out of the alley. She averted her eyes from his face, not really in the mood for company of any kind. She stared at the side walk in front of her.
As the male came closer and began to speak, Luna watched him from the corner of her eye and shrugged at him at his question. "The change holds no real joy tonight," she said, curling her knees colser to her chest.
What was she doing?! Acting all weak and defenseless in the presence of another wolf? She used to have attitude toward males of any kind. Ever since she came to stupid Great Britain, she lost all that confidence of being a werewolf.
Luna leaned back to rest her head against the brick wall. Pursing her lips, she lifted herself of the ground and took a deep breath. "Or maybe the change is exactly waht I need," she said mostly to herself.

Raoul licked his jaws. "Yes, exactly my dear."
"Raoul, you greasy, slimy git!"
The brown wolf whirled around, fear glistening in his eyes as the heavily-musceled black wolf form of Rafe stalked closer and closer to him. "R...Rafe?" he choked out, backing up a bit. "Harrasing young girls and leaving a complete mess on the beach? What is wrong with you?" The black male growled. He turned to the female. "Please excuse me. I did not mean to..." he glared at Raoul, "Interuppt anything. But, I can't help but ask, are you Luna from the cafe?" he raised an eyebrow. Raoul opened his jaws, but Rafe snapped at him. "Nothing out of you for the next 15 minutes, got that?" Rafe snarled. Raoul dipped his head and sat down.

Luna was backed completely against the wall. The black wolf, Rafe, just smelt power. She didn't know much about the pack life, but maybe he was the alpha? No, second in command. Maybe.
"Perhaps," Luna said to the black wolf. "Why do you need to know?"
And how did he know? Luna had barely even begun work there yet. All she got to do was waitress the last few hours of the night and buff tables. Had this Rafe guy been there? She didn't remember seeing, or smelling, him.

"I saw you coming out of the place while I was coming for this furbag. I could smell the wolf on you." He smiled, his fangs glistening. "No need to be frightened, we were just leaving." He nodded to Raoul, who dipped his head to her and shook his pelt. "Might you want to accompany us for a meal? You look sort of hungry and..."
Adrieanne sighed as Zane sped over to her. "Rafe's gone out to mess with Raoul. No biggie." she laid down on the sand and sighed. "So, where were you?" she asked, cocking an eyebrow at him.

"Well, I don't exactly have a pack of my own, so I don't get to eat too often. Pickings aren't the best for a scavenger with no money," Luna said. She stood up straight so she was no longer pressed against the wall. "I suppose that I should come with you..."

Rafe smiled the best that he could. "Alright then. I'll go get Adrieanne, and then we can go get something." He nodded to Raoul, then darted off down the street towards the beach again.
Raoul looked up at her as he stood on his two feet again. "So, you wanna change or stay in your human state?" he asked as fur rippled along his cheeks.
Adrieanne jumped as Rafe nearly collided with her, and smiled. "Hey, we've got a guest for dinner." Rafe said as he shook his coat. Adrieanne's interest perked as she followed him back up the slope. The wind ruffled their hair and fur as wolf and werewolf walked side by side, slowly, gracefully. Adrieanne's sight came upon Luna, and she smiled softly. Black fur edged the top of her hands and the sides of her face as she dipped her head in greeting.

"Obviously, I;m going to change," Luna said was sleek black fur slowly grew out all over her body. "I've already told you that I;m in great need to leave the human world behind and run wolf for a good few hours."
She bent down to allow the full change to over take her. She looked at another werewolf coming toward them and nodded back at her in greeting.

Adrieanne ripped into wolf form, a growl echoing into the night air. She smiled as the night wind ruffled her newly aqquired pelt, and her eyes glistened with hunger. "Alrught then. Raoul, go get Derek and then we can head out. I want to talk with Luna for a while." The brown male dipped his head and darted off.
Adrieanne turned back to Luna, a smile spread across her face. "I am Adrieanne, leader of this pack. I hope Raoul didn't cause you much trouble." she said, chuckling. "He has a way with words."
Rafe grunted. "That slimy git. Preying on young girls like that. He disgusts me." he snarled. Adrieanne glared at him playfully. "You were just as bad in highschool, even in college, so don't bother trying to impress Luna, alright?" she teased.

Luna gave them a wolfish grin. "Dont worry 'bout it. I would say I;m used to it, but that would sound wrong." She chuckled. "But it's true. Living on the streets doesn't get me treated like proper lady, I can assure you."
Luna had had many run ins with the 'wrong side of the steet.' Her very first 'pack' was only the start. A girl living on the streets did not gain very much status or respect from local gangs, human and wolf alike.
Lets just say a part of her was glad to have someone to hunt with.
"And I doubt Raoul ment any harm," Luna said. "Actually, compared to others, he was completely harmless."
