Takas heart sank he thought Tatsuo might have forgotten the village so he wouldnt have to go "in the name of Aniu" he muttered "dont worry I dont want friends come on were losing daylight" Taka trotted of to the east and was realy surprised when he didnt walk into anything.He looked back at Tatsuo "you coming?"

"Sure..." Tatsuo was silent for a while and then he looked at Taka. "So...what are you planning to do after you get to the village? You should take a chance to enter a sled race, some dogs seem to really enjoy it, of course, first thing you have to do is get yourself a human."

Taka looked at Tatsuo in disbelief before suddenly freezing "tatsuo theres a man behind you he hes got a gun." he said in an urgent whisper "what do we do?"

Tatsuo jumped on the hunter making him fall and felt how the bullet almost hit his paw, he fought with the hunter trying to buy Taka some time to escape, but he didn't know how much time he would be able to keep fighting the human.

Tatsuo looked back and noticed Taka had already escaped, he released the hunter and ran into the woods, looking for Taka. "Taka! Where are you?!?! Taka!!"
Tatsuo was getting more worried about Taka, he knew it was way too dangerous for a blind wolf to be alone in the woods, but at least he had more chance of survivng than if he had stayed with the hunter.

Ooc:ok^^Balto's little paws padded throughout the forest. It was getting dark out and he was getting pretty scared with out his mother. He started calling out, " Mama! Mama! where are you mama?" He called to his mother Aniu.

Maura padded out of her den and stretched. She saw her siblings playing with a moss ball on the other side of the clearing, and trotted over to them. "Brother, can I play?" She asked, looking at the pick of the litter. He snorted.
"No way, Runt!"
"Please?" She begged. "I'll catch on quickly!" She added, never knowing the rulesbecause they never let her play.
"Nice try." A female rolled her eyes. "Now go run off with your little 'fairy buddies' in the woods!" She said. 'Fairy buddies' were what they named the things Maura went into the woods to talk to. They thought they were crazy because she spent all of her time out there, so they knew she was talking to someone. They just didn't know who. When she didn't leave, the pick of the litter pushed her down.
"Go." He said, snarling. Maura flinched.
"No." She said, sticking up for herself for once.
"Are you sure?" He asked with a wicked grin. He pounced ontop of her, pushing her to the ground and biting down on her ear. "GET OUT!" He growled, pulling her tail until it hung limp.
Maura dashed into the woods, holding back tears. "Akira?" She called. The bushes rustled, and a light gray wolf with a white stomach and one dark ear walked out. Her fur was clumped and messy, still a little blood-stained. One day, Maura had wandered in the woods asn found her bleeding on the forest floor. She still wasn't completely healed. "Kira!"
"Maura?" Akira barked when her friends familiar voice interrupted her feast. "Maur, what's wrong?" She pushed through the bushes to see the pup tearing up.
"He got me again." She cried, speaking of her brother.
Akira's face wrinkled in sympathy. "Maur," She used Maura's nickname. "just come live with me." She said after a while. Maura had always begged to stay with her, and this was her chance. Maura brightened, and Akira took that as a 'yes.' "Now let me fix up your tail." She barked, looking at Maura's limp tail. "Hold still." She commanded, grabbing the dislocated tail in her teeth and snapping it back into place. Maura flinched, but didn't scream. "Good." Akira said. "If you would have screamed, your pack would know where we are."
