Man, I was out of a good RP.
And epic as usual, Suka!
I did spot some mistakes but all of them come from typos, from the looks of it.
But there is one statement that I have to step forward on: The point where the fake asks Selgar what happens when a stone shatters: “Umm… an anthro looses his ability to do magic,” I said. “Right?” Frankly, stones are external storage units of magic, like a USB Flash drive for a computer. Anthros can use magic without stones. But I'm thinking this is a similar case as the last time, so no worries. =D
And Lux, you've really cough the emotion for the scene with that work.

-stand up applause- Very inspirational, Lux!! I can very much sense the premonition being mirrored through your new composition. Loving every second!! I can't wait for any more you may be coming up with!!
So yeah, I don't know if Rusty might've gotten that far, but Emily Wrixon was supposed to have taken the place of Daniel. We needed a lot more humans in the story; females namely, so it's a change I hope none of you minded.
Oo I might've also missed that memo about stones acting like an external storage unit [nice analogy, BTW. XD]. It may've passed me by what happens to an anthro after their stone has shattered, but this part of the story's actually supposed to be a release moment, so it's imperative I get that detail right. I may have to go back and edit. Thanks for pointing that out, Rusty!!

XD And true, this story does need a few more humans who aren't with the ASRH, (which is where Ben's brother's character will come into play nicely!) and that was a good idea! Plus, the fact that she's 50+ years old adds a bit of a nurturing sort of character, too. (although... well, not many nurturing women carry silenced pistols with them! XD)

I may have to go back and edit. Thanks for pointing that out, Rusty!! Yeah. Just to say: when a stone shatters, it shatters similar to how a glass would if it were dropped, nothing really happens to the anthro aside from the fact they just lost a reserve of magic and would need to find a replacement (of course, this is true if the force of the initial explosion and the size of the shards wasn't large enough to pose a threat to life or limb). As you know, a large number of stones used so far across both of the RP's would not shatter under normal situations; the shattering effect mostly comes from the instability when a stone is charged with magic. If a stone was drained, it would be safe to say that it would act on its own properties whether or not it would shatter and how violent. And there is a scale with the magic-shattering relation: if a small amount was magic was charged into a stone, the shattering would be very trivial. Where in a case of a fool trying to over-charge his stone would probably see a rather large and violent shattering, depending on the size of the stone and method used. The only real danger that comes from all shattering stones is the fact that concentrated magic is being released at once, which could lead to someone falling ill to magic intoxication.

Ah, see here is where I must've gotten confused, because earlier in your post, you said a stone shattering has as much effect as simple glass breaking. XD I went back and edited my post in Chapter 7 to include that detail in -- marked with red text. Is there anything else I missed?

Shatters like glass in the fact that hitting it sharply would break it (or, simply dropping it if it was unstable enough). Technically, a stone could shatter like a glass with the right amount of magic within it (normally lower end of the scale). And I don't think there is much else. Really, only typos could be found in a spotty pattern. If you want, I can go through the chapters and list them out. =D

I wouldn't want to trouble you with having you go through each chapter and sifting through the mistakes. But just, if you see anything while you're reading or skimming over, I'd be happy to know. Right, and the next release will include a little more chapters than I've been doing in all my previous releases; it wouldn't make much sense to stop in the place where I normally would, so I'm gonna be laying a big chunk on you guys on this next batch. But alas, thusly, I'm gonna be needing a little more time to work it over... I just went back and re-read some of the stuff I wrote, and I'm going to have to rework a couple things and refine it a little. I sure hope no one minds.

Sorry for any delay. These past and next couple of weeks have been/will be very crunched for me. I'm also trying to find the best way to release these in a way that can build up the suspense, but at the same time, not leave you all hanging long enough for you to loose interest. Anyway. [Chapter 08 taken down. Thank you for your interest.]

Dude! I can totally relate to Selgar in chapter 9, especially when he got the new gear! I mean, man... getting something new, feeling like it's your birthday, or Christmas, or something... man, you sure captured the essence of what it's like to get awesome stuff!
Same with the being prepared thing, too! You've got a way with words, Suka. Very well done! ^^
