Kovu looked at his mother. "Umm, can I go play?" He asked. He was going to go to the PrideLands.

((If Zira says yes, I was going to the the crocoldile scene.))

Zira looked at him, "Sure, but Nuka ha to watch you," she then walked back, she found Nuka, "Nuka watch Kovu for me, and you'd better not disappoint me,"

Kovu started to bound off into the Pride Lands, Nuka following him.

MEANWHILE

"Daddy!" Kiara whimpered in her father's ear. "Can I go play?"

"Only if you are careful, and stay away from the outlands," Simba said,

Then Nala walked up to his side, "Have funny Kiara,"

Kiara nodded eargly, than started to run into the pride lands.

"Come on Simba, you have to admit you are to protective over her,"

"Alrigth i am, i just cant stand the though of losing her,"

Vita ni sat beside Zira. "Think they'll be ok?"

"They better be," Zira said flatly, "If Nuka left Kovu alone, his going to be in for it,"

"Then you better get your claws ready." Vitani said.

"My claws are always ready Vitani," Zira said smiling alittle

Much to soon. Nuka lost track of Kovu. Kovu soon came across a female lioness cub. "Who are you, Pridelander?" He asked.

Kiara didnt awnser, she jumped from side to side, facing kovu at alll times.

Kovu growls meancingly, and his curoisity got the better of him.

Kovu asked once again, "What are you doing?"

"My father says to never turn your back on an Outsider!" Kiara exolained

"You always do what Daddy says?" Kovu said in a high piched voice.

'No!" Kiara scrreched.

"Bet you do. Bet you're Daddy's little girl! Ha ha!" He moved away, hoping on logs across the river. "An Outsider doesn't need anybody. I take care of myself!"

Kiara starred at him and awe, and followed him across. "Really? Cool!"

{Kovu looks back at Kiara, and notices a huge crocodile rising up behind her with its mouth gaping}

Kovu looked abck at Kiara, and he noticed a huge crocoldile rising up behind her with it mouth open wide. "Wuhh... waaaahh!"

Kiara turned to teh crocodile. "Aaaaahhh! Run!" The crocdile teeth crucnh behind them. "This way!"

They barly escape, leaping from rock to rock across the river and out of the reach of the crocodiles' jaws as more and more rise up out of the water. They rest on two unmoving "stones" further down, and begin to pant and giggle.

Kovu panted. "That was a close one."

Kiara nodded. "Yeah..."

The stones they were sitting on rise up and reveal themselves as more crocodile heads.

Kovu and Kiara both said, "Woahhhhhhh!"

Kiara ran up a tree limb, getting out of reach; however, Kovu runs past her, leaping from crocodile to crocodile down the river.

Kiara asked, terrified, "Hey.. what about me?"

Kovu kept going. "You gotta take care of yourself!"

Kiara whimpered, "I'll distract them. Run!"

Kovu slipped off the last crocodile into the water; as he came up, gasping for air, the crocodiles loom over him.

Kiara swiped at crocdile from the brach she was on. "Look out!"

Kovu was paralyzed by fright; the gaping mouth in front of him is suddenly clamped shut by Kiara leaping on top of it.

Kiara yelped, "Move it!"

The two cubs scrambled up a branch and up onto the bank, out of reach of danger. From the top, they pant and rest for a few moments, then move back to look over the edge. The crocodiles are massing below, furious at being cheated of their meal.

Kiara smiled. "I did it... I did it"! She "thhppbbts" the crocodiles below.

Kovu laughed.

The cubs move back from the edge and recount their adventure.

Kiara smiled. "Whoah, man-- did you see the size of those teeth? They were goin' "Rrrarrarrarr" ...." Then she rolled over on her back and laughed. "He was just totally eatin' you up right there, and I jumped on his head-- and I bopped him so good--"

Kiara ran around in cricles. "We make such a good team! And you... you were really brave!''

Kovu smiled with pride. "Yeah... you were pretty brave too. My name's Kovu. "

"I'm Kiara."

She crouched down playfully, waving her tail; she reached out and abtted him.

Kiara said, "Tag! You're it!"

She jumped back, laughing; instead of chasing, Kovu just looks at her silently. She tries again.

"Tag! You're it! You're it! "

Kovu just satrred at her.

Kiara waved her paw in his face. "Hello? You run, I tag... get it? What's the matter? Don't you know how to play?"

Getting an idea, she crouches down and goes back to playing his style, with bared teeth and growls. He gets the idea and mock-growls back, but suddenly he finds himself growling at Simba's leg. Simba roars, and Zira jumps out of the grass and roars back.

Zira heard the screams of two cubs she ran to it and noticed them, she followed them, she hid in the brush, watching them, she let out a low growl as she heard the name of the girl cub, she then saw them begin to play, then Simba came out of nowhere letting out a roar/growl, Zira then jumped out letting out an even louder roar than Simba's,

Kiara backed up. "Uh oh.."

"Zira,"

"Simba?" Zira said surprised to see him alone she was ready to pounce then Nala came along with others

"NAla," she said disappointed,

"Zira,"

"Timon pumbaa, great now that we all know each other, GET OUT OF YOUR PRIDELANDS!!!!!!!!!"

"Your pridelands?" she let out a growl "These lands belong to scar,"

"You and the other outlanders were banished, now you and your young cub get out,"

"Oh haven't you met my son Kovu, he was hand chosen by Scar," she smiled, "However if you need your pound of flesh here," she pushed Kovu towards simba,

"Take him and get out, we're finished here," Simba then walked to Kiara and picked her up

"Oh no Simba we have only begun," she chuckled evilly as she looked at Kiara, she then walked over and picked up Kovu and walked away

Kiara was suddenly picked up my her father, Simba. "Bye..."

Kovu was aslo to picked pu my his mother, Zira. "Bye...."
