Elijah leapt down beside his motehr. "Okay."

Drake closed his eyes then satred at his paws. "So, they were close? Martin and my mother?"

"Eh..." If his fur hadn't hid it, Elijah would have paled. He reached out for the spear and stared at her for a moment. "You're serious?"

Drake looked down at it. "It seems like no matter how harda nyone tried, one parent would have been lost. But with my mother gone, both are." He looked at Brome. "Does he even... know about me?"

Kale rushed out of the room, half sorry to leave and half glad. He chose a guard quickly then went to fetch Huntress.

Elijah cocked his head slightly, taken aback at the crack in his mom's voice. /he wasn't sued to her acting like this. Not ever. "Okay." He tried it and almost had it (much to his surprise) but it fell to teh ground just as he was about ot finsih. "Ugh. Oh well, I was close." He grinned at hsi mom. "That was good, huh?"

Drake looked at his uncle. "Do you think I could find ihm? Could anyone find him or does he move around too much?"

Kale bowed. "are you ready to check my choice?" he asked nervously, hoping he wouldn't be in trouble.

"Okay." Elijah sighed adn trudged into teh house. He colelcted a fresh tunic and grabbed a bar of soap then trudged into teh kitchen and sniffed hopefully. "What's cookin' Hope?"

Drake sighed and lifted his paws in surrender. "Okay, okay. It was just an idea. I promise." I promise that I will find him, he added silently.

Kale hurried down teh halls to teh guards. "Rotnose! Report!" the weasle quickly joined them in response.

Hope giggled softly, a cooking brush in one paw, covered in honey. "Nothing you'll get those muddy paws on Elijah." she stuck her tounge out at him.

Brome nodded, rubbing Drake's head. "Alright, I need to go take care of a few things." he stopped as he reached the rosebush outside, plucking one that had bloomed late. "Drake, keep that promise." he murmured, handing his nephew the rose before leaving silently.

Huntress' eyes widened, her smile serene with pleasure. "Hmm...I haven't seen him around much." she said, circling the weasel with faint remarks. "Nice, very nice...Kale, you have done a splendid job!"

OOC: Rotnose came back from the dead? XD

Ooc:// lol. I chose the first name that jumped into my mind. ^_^

elijah laughed. "Everyone's against the dirty!" Witha grin, he walked outside. "Okay, Mum. Get it over with. I'm hungry." He handed her the soap and threw his clean tunic on the ground.

"I will." Drake rolled his eyes and waited for hsi uncle's pawsteps to fade before he turned to teh window. Placing his paws on the window sill, he stared out through it, his eyes clouded with a silent greif. So, Rose of Noonevale was his mother and the great and legendary Martin the Warrior was his father. there was only one option. No one took the back way. He'd be unnoticed. Sliding out the window, he bolted through Noonevale and into the forest. I'm coming, Martin. I'm on my way.

Sighign with rerlief, Kale said, "Thank you, marm."

Marigold smiled, taking his tunic and putting it on a low hanging branch. "In the water, young sir." she grinned.

A few moments later, Brome returned for something, beginning to murmur something about being back late tonight before he realized...Drake was gone. "Oh, no..." he said, darting out and calling for his nephew.

Huntress smiled wider, standing beside Kale. "C'mon, let's not let those young beasts out there from growing old!" she looked to Rotnose "You, stay on your paws, we can't have another incident."

OOC: Apparently, you really were thinking of Martin The Warrior! XD

Elijah hurridly scrubbed himself down with soap once he was in teh water. He wanted it to be over with so he could get food. His stomach roared, making him go faster.

Drake's footpaws pounded down the trail as he quickened his pace. once his disapearance was discovered, a search party would be sent out. He didn't want ot be found. He wanted to do the finding.

Kale walked away from Rotnose, leaving teh weasle almost shaking with fright at teh idea of his punishment if he failed.

Ooc:// Lol, I guess. So, I was thinking and maybe we should add love interests for Drake and Hope to add to the plot.

Marigold chuckled, waiting with a barkcloth towel for when he came out, grinning with satisfaction.

Sure enough, Drake was right, when Brome couldn't find his nephew in Noonvale, he gathered a search party, wandering through the forest, calling out his name.

Huntress couldn't help but laugh silently as Rotnose began to shake. She held a paw to her mouth, as not to give it away. "Am I really all THAT bad, Kale?" she asked, cocking an eyebrow.

OOC: Sure thing, who's love interest would you rather take?

"Yuck," mumbled elijah, climbing out and drying ihmself with teh towel. "I hate baths!"

Drake knew he was fara way from Noonevale and it would take a long time for them to find him but he kept running. He was taking no chances.

Kale shrugged. "Aye, but it gets the job done."

Ooc:// I'll take Hope's if you want. Then it's easier to do interacting. His name shall be... *ponders* Danny.

Marigold sighed. "Try being a slave, darling...You don't get a bath..." You don't get freedom either, she wanted to say, having lived the horror of being a slave.

Brome looked down, trying to find pawprints in vain. It was getting dark, and he was not going to endanger any of Noonvale. "We'll have to try in the morning." he said, and all headed back.

OOC: Should Drake run into Huntress? ^^


Huntress giggled lowly, slinging her net over her shoulder. "True. One must be like us, hm?" she grinned wickedly, her nose twitching for a moment.

Drake looked over his shoulder and felt himself crash into somethign soft and furry. Landing on his bottom, he looked up at Huntress and Kale in horror.
