FreeFall looked at this strange female who called herself SnowSpirit. "I am FreeFall, and did you know you are talking to that strange dragon?" Questioned FreeFall.

'I am?' Snowspirit said, surprised. 'But what's so special about you, you look like a normal dragon' she said, studying him closely. He is quite cute she thought, and a small shy smile crept to her lips. She wasn't a dragon that blushed easily, but she still did sometimes, and she could already feel her cheeks warming up.
Whiplash looked round the den, he had been working out a way to get rid of Freefall. If I can just turn everyone against him, then he will be driven out he thought, but wasn't sure how. He watched Sunfire and Freefall go in different directions, and then quietly followed Freefall. He had just turned the corner when he saw him talking to a white female, but she wasn't from Fire clan. Whiplash gasped and was about to attack her when an evil smile flashed over his face. If someone found out that Freefall was talking to someone from the Ice clan, then Fire clan would accuse Ice clan of spying, there could be a fight he thought, and quickly walked away so he wasn't noticed.

FreeFall looked at SnowSpirit. "I can master all elements, while other dragons can only master one." He replied. He thought he saw movement behind him, but he didnt see anything and so thought it was just the wind blowing a treebranch.

'Oh' Snowspirit said, she was a little stunned. Trust me to make freinds with the dragon that all the clans are going to want she said to herself angrily. 'I have to go now, Icywing might notice i'm missing, and then I would get in BIG trouble' she said, turning away and blushing slightly but keeping her head hidden from Freefall's view. He was with that other female, I don't really have much of a chance with a dragon from anther clan she thought.
Whiplash stalked out of the den, heading towards Ice clan's den. Icywing has to know what her treatcherous clan members are doing, she has a right, and once she knows, then so will Fireclaw he thought, and broke into a run.
Sunfire stretched herself out on a flat stone by a crstal blue stream, it was her favourite spot because the sun warmed her. It also cast everythingin a kind of golden light as the sun reflected off her scales like they were mirrors. She sighed ad closed he eyes, forgetting about the clan, her life, and Freefall.

At that moment, FireClaw came out of the cave. He saw Whiplash running off. "Hmm..." He started to think.

FreeFall starred off in the direction SnowSpirit went. "Hmph, coming to see the new "Strange" dragon eh." He muttered once she was gone from his sight. "Everyone seems to think I`m weird just because I`m different." Said FreeFall as his head lowered and he walked right past FireClaw.

"Whatever is the matter?" Asked FireClaw.

"Do you think I`m weird..Because I`m different?" Answering a question with a question.

"No, I do not think you are weird young dragon, I reckon different..Is special." He replied and then walked back into the cave, he yawned and reclined at the back of the cave amongst the others.

FreeFall sighed and just kept walking..He wasnt even watching where he was going and walked straight into a tree.

Snowspirit slowed to a walk, she had plenty of time. She decided that she might go to the river for a paddle, the water would be lovely and cool. She headed down towards the river, she could already hear it trickling. She got there and saw the golden female from before lying on rock, and she seemed to be asleep. Cautiously Snowspirit crept round the rock, and lay down on the river bank next to the rock.
Whiplash ran as fast as he could, he didn't feel tired at all. He soon came to Ice clan territory, but didn't stop. He saw the Ice clan's den, and slowed down to a walk. He walked to the center and called, 'Icywing, I need to speak to you about one of your clan members, it's imprtant.'

Fireclaw heard the sound of a tree crashing down. "FreeFall, are you alright?" Asked FireClaw. "Oh and have you seen Whiplash?" He added.

"I`m alright, and come to think of it, no I havent." Replied FreeFall. He sighed as he walked off. "I`ll be back before sundown, I need to talk to someone." Said FreeFall as he spotted SnowSpirt, luckily FireClaw had went back into the cave. He walked up to her. "What are you doing here?" He asked.

'I like this spot' Snowspirit said, turning her head to look at Freefall, she had heard him coming when he knocked the tree over.
Sunfire woke with a jump when she heard the sound of smashing, she looked behind her and saw the fallen tree and Freefall. 'Freefall what...' she started, but saw Snowspirit lying next to her. 'Who are you, and what are you doing on Fire clan territory' she growled at the white dragon. She unsheathed her claws and let out an angry roar.

Just then FireClaw came up behind them. "Calm yourself SunFire, as long as she is not bothering the clan, she may lay there, of course it is our territory, but we didn`t create this world, mother nature did, and she would want us to share it." Said FireClaw calmly and wisely.

"You`re right FireClaw." Agreed FreeFall, sounding reluctant, he didn`t like the idea of sharing part of the clan`s territory with a stranger from another clan. "What do you think SunFire?"

'Fireclaw, you are meant to think of what is best for the clan, and if we allow one intruder, then others will come, we could be attacked, she could be a spy' Snufire growled. 'If you are no longer willing to do what is best for the clan, then you should step down from position of leader.'
Snowspirit was shocked, it was one thing to tell a leader they were wrong, but to tell them to step down was a great offence. She backed up slightly, not wanting to get involved if it would cause conflict within their clan.

FireClaw didn`t look offended. "When the right time comes, I will step down, but for now, I will resume my responsibilities, yet there is nothing threatening about this female, if she planned to spy, FreeFall would know, he has the ability to read minds." Replied FireClaw calmly.

FreeFall nodded. "I do have the ability to read minds, and so far, I`m pretty much convinced she`s not a spy, the only reason she was here in our territory in the first place, was because she had heard tales of me, a strange dragon, born in the fire clan."

Sunfire raised herself up, trying to look dominant. 'You are both stupid and worthless, if you had bothered to watced the spy, then you would have noticed that she has gone' she said, snarling. She jumped off the rock, and as she walked past Freefall she scraped his side with her horns. 'I am going to find her and either bring her back, or kill her, you cannot be soft on spys' she said, and ran into the forest.
Snowspirit ran, she was heading towards the border, she had caused bitterness and hatred to flare up. She started to cry as she ran, had she also broken up a love? That female will never let me back in the territory, I will never see Frefall again, but maybe that is best she thought sadly.

FreeFall watched silently. "FireClaw, do something, she is the one who is being foolish, that other female from the ice clan will lead her right into the ice clan territory,causing trouble, she is going to get hurt!" Said FreeFall.

"Young dragon, you have alot to learn, Sunfire can make her own decisions, no matter where they lead her, she is following the path she thinks is right, and no-one can stop her from following her heart." Replied FireClaw.

"We can`t afford to lose another clan member! There is hardly any food and all the clans around here are our enemies. If she steps foot on the ice clan territory, they will think she is there to steal, and we would all be fighting over barely anything!" Said FreeFall, his tone was harsh and his voice level was rising. "I have to go after her!" Then he ran off after Sunfire.

'I wish to speak to Icywing, leader of the Ice clan' Whiplash roared again. A few of the other dragons had gathered round him and he could hear whispers, but ignored them.
Snowspirit was nearly at the border, she could her footfall beside her but couldn't see anything. There was a short moment of crashing and Snowspirit found herself on her back with the golden female standing over her snarling. 'Please, I didn't mean to make you all angry, and I didn't want to split you and Freefall up' she said, more tears creeping to her eyes.
'Break us up? I hate him you stupid dragon, he is so stuck up thinking he is the best because he can do weird things, but he is just obnoxious' Sunfire growled, digging her claws into Snowspirit's chest a little harder.

"What do you want?"Icywing had appeared in her small skinny form. She had a calm but yet stern face,she floated in the air as she waited for the young dragon's answer.
