Stelle is a leader as Skar but his talent is streangth and Scar is more of a thinker...But they both have the same bleam in their eyes that's for sure...

I think Steel and Scar got same charakter.

I agree but i think scar is willing to take things to a far more extreme than Steele. Though this is only because scar acctually kills someone in TLK while steele just beats on balto

Scar is a very completely developed character; we see much more screen time of him than Steele. Steele seems to be underdeveloped; sort of one-sided evil, whereas Scar is nuanced and manipulating (hyenas... elegy... "new era"... convincing Simba he's responsible for Mufasa's death).

But I would agree that their animation style, the sharp defining lines, does compare to give both that Evil that animated films have to visually convey to children. They're both obviously the same sort of character, the evil villain, but what I notice most about Steele is that he is shown to have a void in his ability to lead... he runs on ego and terror, when he loses control of a situation he cannot lead. Scar, however, seems very plotting, in-control; only at his death is his weakness revealed (hyenas revenge).

Scar is more of an antagonist than Steele is. The thing is, Steele, ahem, WAS a character that was idolized, while Scar is somewhat of a leave-me-alone type of character.

Well, yeah, the hyenas saw Scar as a way to lift themselves out of their scrap heap of a life, whereas there's nobody really in that situation who would look to Steele for circumstantial alliance. So the two characters fulfill their similar roles in different ways.

welll sort of in the way of motives and jealousy i think they dont look that much a like but behave the same way by the way i suggest you make this a poll

Well as i said before lion king and Balto may be similar but lion king is acctually based on Hamlet.
A shackspear play. Like Claudius, Scar planned Muffasas death and became king. Also Claudius and Scar were both brothers of the king
Really the similarities between Scar and Steele that i see is they have some similar looks and are both the bad guys
