Jamie didn't appreciate this at all. She lunged at the man and bit his neck almost killing him and it sent him home bleeding. She looked at Mike with her yellow eyes and ran to him and her eyes stung with tears in her eyes. She then pulled the bullet out of his side. Luckily, the bullet went into his side, not his heart. She then layed down on his body and started to cry because he might be dead.

Mike was shocked. First he heard the shot, then everything went black. He then remembers lying on the ground with his side searing in pain. Feather's body felt warm next to his, and it relaxed him a bit. He tried to say something, but all that came out was small whimpers.
Helga was next to the two wolves in a hurry.
"I told you there was evil here... Wolf, don't touch that wound! If anyone is to help him, it'll be me. I'll be right back."
With that, she limped off into the woods as fast as she could.

She barked at the sly fox standing up like she did when she first saw the wolf and the fox, " No! I will take care of him because I actually know how to!" She growled and layed back down on his body. She would fight the fox if she had to.

Mike heard Feather bark at Helga. He had to do something about it. He tried to talk again.
"Sh...she...I helped...her once...Give her a break...she's just...trying to return...the favor."

Mike shuddered, then fell limp. He was absolutely exhauseted.
At about this time, Helga returned with some sweet smelling leaves in her mouth.
"Mike used these on me when I broke my foot. They heal very fast. Why don't you apply these to his wound, since you have such negative feelings over me."

Helga approached Mike again.
"Methinks he is tired. Do you know of any foods that help healing?"

When Blizzard got outside, he cleaned off all of his wounds and went to the dog house to check on Jamie. He sat around the corner and talked, " Um, Jamie, are you there?" He asked. He poked his head in to find that she wasn't there.
She thought a sec. "Um, I was always told Caribou worked, but, I don't know." She said and licked his head.
