Phew! Now that thats over with, we can get back to the rp.

Bic:// "Um, thank you," Sonya said in a quiet voice. She had heard a bit about the kindness of the small town folk, but seeing it for herself was something completely different than just hearing about it. "And I;m sure I will love it," she said, not wanting to discourage the dog, Max, that his kindness was not appreciated.

Sonya looked quickly behind her when she heard the front door open. Katie was kneeling down, shoving a piece of small wood under the screen door so that it stayed open. Then she disappeared inside.

"Do you want a tour of the property?" Rose asked Sonya. They had met once before, when Sonya's old owner had visited Katie. Back then, Sonya was barely over puppyhood and Rose had still been in her prime. But it was enough that any formal introduction was unnessiccary. "You'll have to learn your way around eventually, after all."

"Sure," Sonya said eagerly. She was just happy that Rose wasn't suggesting a tour of the town filled with introductions and such. Sonya was feeling shy and self-conscience with just Max there as it was.

Cooper was laying in the dirt behind a couple of trash cans. He rolled over in his sleep, banging into the cans. There was just enough commotion to wake him up but not cause a scene. With a sigh and a yawn, Coop stretched out his sore muscles. He valued his alley like a palace, but it wasn't exactly the most comfortable sleep. The popping mucles proved that.

With one final shake of his fur, Coop trotted out of his alley and into the street. The sky was high in the sky. Mid-afternoon. Of course. Coop spent most of his mornings asleep. The late waking come to no surprise. But his grumbling stomach was a set back. Trying to get something from the butcher at this time of day was nearly impossible. Instead, he settled for stolling down the sidewalk until a better way to spend the day occured to him.

Shiloh leapt to his paws and padded towards the group. "Uh, hey, Rose. Hi, Max," he said in greeting. He turned to Sonya and grinned. "Hey, I'm Shiloh... Who are you?" He shook hi s fur, his head still pouding form it's collision with the truck. Man, he had be more careful. Note to self: don't hit parked cars.

Emily scratched throught eh garbage, her noce pressed to the tin, attempting to find screaps. She heard someone coming and looked up to see Cooper. She'd seen him around before but had never really met him. "Looking for food?" She asked, steppign abck form the garbage can. Rats. Looked like hte people who owned this can didn't waste meat.

Personailty: cheerful, easy-going, happy-go-luck type, with bucketloads of energy and bouncyness. Friendly, and tries to help, but unfortunately is also very clumsy and curious, which often lands her in troube. Innocent...but not too bright sometimes. Is also very sporty and active, loves to run in fields. Doesn't like fights and is intimidated by older, aggressive dogs. Is just a sweet, good-natured girl.
History: her and her owner used to live in the city, but have just moved to the countryside because they felt too cramped up and stressed. Out here in the country, they'll have "space to breathe". Clover is nervous about meeting the new dgs, but can't wait to run about in the wide, open fields.

Clover trotted briskly down the dirt track, taking in the sights, the sounds, the smells. Marie was right. There was just so much space. The whole place was surrounded by vast, open fields that seemed to stretch on forever. She wagged her tail happily as a swallow darted above her head in the crytal-blue sky. She smiled to herself, and breathed in the fresh, clean air. I could certainly make myself at home here, she thought.
