shinxs looked around her kennle and shiverd. it was dark, and her musher hadn't came to see her for a few days. 'where is he?' she asked herself, puzzled why he hadn't come. 'i hope he is all right.' she continued to herself, then layed down her head, wishing the musher would come, and play with her like he did when she was a pup. she sighed remebering her time as a pup, and layed down her head on the filthy kennle floor. *** shinx head flew up quickly when she heard a loud crash out side. 'what was that?' she asked herself confused. she layed there quietly, waiting to see if the sound would come again. there it was again, a loud crash, like someone banging on there kennel door. she slowly got up, her legs wobbly from the days of confinement. she slowly took a couple steps towards the wall of her kennel. she quikely backed up though when she heard the fierce growling of some of the other females. 'ohh, what is wrong?' she thought, only slightly worried. she went as close to the wall of her kennel as she could and looked outside. almost all the team was out, running around, fighting, and grumbling about. ''hey what's goin' on out there?'' she called out to them, then after a beat continued, ''how do i get outta here?'' she called out, hoping to get out of the dirty and dark kennel.

Cooper waited until the two females separated from one another before he slid his dark aburn gaze towards Isabella's kennel. It looked as if she was awake now and had heard him call for her, and with that notation he padded towards the wire mesh, where the female stood on the opposite side.
"Mindless dogs, fighting over a guy."
The Inuit chuckled. "Yeah, well, when you're the only male on the team you can't help but get that kind of attention." He paused before he flashed a smug expression. "Besides, who wouldn't like a guy like me?" He joked before he looked at Izzy. It wasn't until he got a good look at her that he noticed that the fur on one cheek was slick and damp. Was she crying? Or was ist just some sleep that was a little moist that she whiped away? Naturally, Cooper was curious. He could ask what the matter was, but he figured that was up to Isabella if she wanted to tell him at all. He forced himself to ignore it before smiling back at her. "So..." The male began, at a little loss for words. "It seems that the musher has left us for who knows what and we're here alone to fend for ourselves." The situation was very drastic, for they could starve without any food. Water was essential for life, and withouth that the dogs wouldn't last more than three days.
Cooper had to think fast in order to save his team. "We have to go." He muttered before trotting towards the wire gate. He knew how to open these, for he has seen how the musher had done it before they went for the races. He stood on his strong back legs and leaned against the structure with his forepaws before slipping his paws over the latch that locked the gate. It was trial and error for the firt few attempts, but his presision paid off. The latch unhooked from the lock and Cooper pryed the gate open with his muzzle. He waited until Izzy was by his side before he would go to the rest of the kennels that weren't broken into.

Shani saw Izzy aproutching her "Sorry, I didn't mean to go off like that, on any of you.And its not because of the beloved Cooper" Shani chuckled "It's just my wolf ins...." Shani caught her herself at the last word because it would reveal the secret that she had kept from them for years.Shani knew they had to know soon, but not know, she wanted to so bad!It would help the sled team alot if they knew.Shani put her head down letting Izzy knew she wouldn't say anymore about it.She then turned around to hear another dog she ran up to the cage he tryed to do what Cooped did and after a few tries it unlocked and she back away from the door and gave her the horribale news "The musher is dead, and I'm preety sure we arn't goin' to be lingering around here anymore."Shani's ears were back and she wanted to cry but she forced them back.Shani then sat back up "Everyone! Please!I know were there are some elk and bear out in the woods, its not that far and we are all hungry anyways! And I'm a preety good hunter." Shani spoke. She wasn't trying to be a show-off or anything.

Azeriel simply decided t watch the whole scenery unfold before her. She watched the two femme's fight it out then smiled slowly as her good friend Izzy spoke her mind. She lightly pressed her snout thru the wires before digging into the snow. She felt the flying snow against her back thighs until she stoped. She examined the hole for a while before curling her spine in and pulled her self out under the wires. She scraped her forepaws into the snow and heaved her lower wieght out from under the fence. She smiled, looking at her kennel and shook her dark pelt. She looked to the freed dogs then took a pace twoards Cooper and Izzy.
She looked over at the white wolfess and simply listened to her. She flicked her darker ears in a small arch, she was a dog of few words. Her auds scanned over to Izzy and Cooper and looked to Angel. She took a sideways glance to the sky then looked back to the dogs and simply sat down, her weight relaxed as she waitied to see what the others would say. Her tail curled around her forelegs slowly and released as she watched.

ooc; Yes, I think I'm going to add another male to the plot. He's Cooper's slightly younger brother. His bio should be finished very soon if you're curious as to who he is. Once his bio is finished, I'll begin posting with him. ---- Oh, please, give me a break. They just got out of their kennels from being trapped in there for three days, and all they can think about is ripping each other's fur off because of a guy."Cooper chuckled lightly, agreeing with Isabella's rational remark. He watched her look towards Shani, whom she glared at with such intensity that it seemed that if she looked at the wolf any harder she could burn a hole right through her chest. The Inuit dog sighed, knowing for a fact that leading a pack of females was going to be a hard task, even if he was partially grateful that there was no other males to compete with if times grew too despirate. You know, if only one female survived and both males survived, the males would have to fight for who gets the female in order to breed with her to continue their family lineage. Luckily, however, Cooper knew what he was doing and the only tussles that were acting up hadn't caused any blood to be spilt. Still, females created so much drama. "Well, aren't you just the popular one?"The male's line on thought was shattered when Izzy replied. He was still standing at the gate before he realized that the female had managed to dig underneath the fancing of her kennel. He grunted at the knowledge that she would rather get dirty rather than taking the easiest route out of the pen, but he was relieved when she came right back to him. He smiled at her, slightly tilting his muzzle in a downwards position due to his height -he was a rather large dong mind you- before his grin vanished. The female's expression was one of anxiety and sorrow. What happened? Was she hurt? Did someone hurt her feelings? He pondered for a few heartbeats before he looked at her. His expression was all that he needed for her to understand what he was mentally asking, "What's wrong?" "He's dead, Cooper. The musher, he's.......dead."
It was as if his heart had stopped. The words hit him like a freight train and almost caused him to wobble and lose his balance with dismay. How could this be? What happened to him? Cooper was speechless, he couldn't even think straight with what he had been told. Although he wasn't the type of dog to cry instantly, he felt as though he was all alone in the world. [i]'The musher is...gone?'[/b] He repeated, asking himself if it were true. Indeed it was. His dark aburn optics were wide and filled with horror. The musher had been his closest friend ever since Felicity. The mush took him with remorse even when he knew of Cooper's dreadful past. The Inuit didn't know if he could handle things now that he knew the musher was gone. Forever.
[i]"Those sirens, they were......they were sirens of an ambulance. I don't know how, but he's gone. That's why I haven't been able to get sleep and, well......when I finally did, I had the same dream again that I've been having every night. About.......never mind."An ambulance? Cooper had suspected that, but he didn't know that the musher had died on the way to the hospitol. He thought that the ambulance brought him to the hospitol to recover and soon return home. But he thougth wrong. The large male winced before he sat down and looked at teh ground with his eyes closed and teeth clenched. There must be a rational explanation to this. The musher must have been murdered, there is no other way he could have died on the way to the hospitol. 'He must have been shot with a muffled rifle or something...and then bleeding to death before the ambulance took him.' Cooper told himself, trying to make things a little less bleak. He growled lowly before he noticed that Izzy had left his side. The last bit of Isabella's explanation of her loss of sleep nearly bypassed the Inuit, but he heard it loud and clear. Her back was against him and that caused Cooper to grow worried. He thought it was best, however, to leave her alone and allow her to recollect herself. It didn't take long until his thoughts were backed up by her sudden change in emotion. "Come on, we need to get everyone else out, don't we?"Cooper nodded with a light grin before he padded after Izzy. He noticed now that Azeriel was now out of her kennel and took a seat near him and Isabella. He looked at her, examining the snow and mud stains on the white parts of her pelt. She must have dug a hole in order to get out, and taking a quick glance towards her pen his question was confirmed with just that answer. Cooper gazed back at Azeriel and smiled at her, glad to see that she managed to get out all by herself and unharmed. His attention was then ripped from the black and white husky towards the white wolf, whom he still knew that everyone else must still believe she was a purebred dog. "Everyone! Please!I know were there are some elk and bear out in the woods, its not that far and we are all hungry anyways! And I'm a preety good hunter."His eyes widened. What? She's expecting a group of dogs to return to their savage ancestry and live like wolves!? Cooper could hardly believe what he had gathered from Shani. He looked towards Isabella for an opinion other than his own, but she looked to be busy with getting all the others out of their kennels. "Look, Shani, I know you care a lot about everyone here, but we can't jump to conclusions so quickly. If we stay here, I know we'll starve until someone comes for us. But if we go out in teh wilderness, we'll starve because we don't have the abilities to take down such large game, let alone elk." He almost forgot about bears. "Bears are another matter. I know for a fact a group of dogs, a lone wolf, or even a pack of wolves can't kill a grizzly bear, full grown of not. I've seen what bears are capable of doing, and I would think twice about chasing one you can manage to kill, which would be a cub. If anyone was to kill a bear cub, the mother can hunt you down until she has you in her jaws." He took a break, catching his breath. The large Inuit dog exchanged his gaze from every face that he could see. Now he was adressing everyone. "But we have no choice but to go out towards the wilderness. We'll be risking our lives to try and survive with the little instincts we have left. Hunters, bears, and wolves will be nipping at our heels even if we can't sense them, but I think if we all stick together we can manage to stay alive until we figure out what happened to the musher, his cause of death, and to figure out what to do afterwards." Cooper was standing now, his tail raised stright up in the air and head held high. "Before we depart from our home we have to get everyone out of their kennels. We'll need all the help we can get." With that said, the large male galloped towards one of the kennels closest to the house, where his brother was kept. Cooper's brother's kennel was different, though. There was concrete sealant around the fencing, there were padlocks on the gate and door to the enclosed portion of the kennel, and instead of timber the whole kennel was made of the same material as the wire fencing. Cooper's brother was a master when it comes to escaping from something, and so the musher took extra procautions. Cooper sighed disappointingly as he surveyed the pen, looking for any way he could send word to his brother and get him out.

OOC:?? oh ok, he seems quite a great color fur ;3
Azeriel pulled her lips tight as she finished hearing the wolfess out. 'Cooper will not agree with her...' she said to herself quietly. She knew him well and going out likethat whas not in his demeaner. As to confirm her suspicions he made no hesitation in replying to her. She looked over at him and nodded slowly, jotting time after he finished she stood up, shaking her pelt slowly "he makes a good point Shani, you cant just expect us to go out there and hunt, and fight like woves, weve never done that before" She looked to Cooper then back to Shani, her auds slowly shimmered "I can assure you, as can Cooper, that we might get harmed before any godd come out of us leaving, but luckily, if we work together.. we may work things thru" she halted her words and then sat back down after her short, but clean cut words. She didnt like talking too much, so when she spoke it clearly got the message thru.
She looked at her fur, lightly dappled with dry mud, watching it hang like rown icecles from her longer outter fur. She paid no mind and reveresed her look twoards Izzy then the wired kennle belonging to Cooper's brother. She sighed slowly then looked out into the wilderness and simply let her brain wander as she awaited the following plans. She stood up and slowly followed after Cooper. She looked inside the pen, and gave a low but stiff bark, awaking his brother if he was asleep.
