Aniu suddenly appeared in front of Steele. "Steele, this might be a shock but Iron has been taken by Mako!" she said. "And he needs both you and Balto to save him, you know what that psychopath Mako can do, I'm sure you've still got scars."
"ITs fine, I've got to go take a look around anyway." said Balto, he nuzzled her. "Sweet dreams."

"Iron is the only thing me, your mother, and Balto all care about, he was my mate, he's Dawne's mate now, and he is yours and Balto's father, you know how much he cared for you, he searched for you when Mako got you till he collapsed from exshaustion, he did the same for me and Balto." she said. "And you and Balto can both agree what a vile waste of life that Mako is."
Balto walked outside and started into town.
