Tasha smiled and gave a small nod, before heading around the other side of the deer, as quietly as possible. Once she was on the other side of it, she signaled with her eyes to Ace that she was ready to attack, if he was. Her muscles twitched in anticipation of food, and of a hunt. Her stomach rumbled at the thought of food, of fresh meat in her mouth, making the deer look around, but he soon went back to eating the grass. Tasha would burst out of the bushes the same moment Ace did, ready to help him hunt the deer.

Ace caught Tasha's glance, then shifted his paws in the dirt. He looked up to the deer once more before bursting out of the bushes. He decided to try a dangerous tactic and nip at the deer's back hooves. If he could get the deer moving, it would be harder for it to kick, easier for Ace to trip it up and an opportune moment for Tasha to strike. So that's what he did.

Tasha saw Aces tactics, and she darted around the deer, trying to confuse it and waiting for an opportunity to strike. And there it was. Tasha lunged, aiming for its throat. She missed, but latched onto his shoulder, not letting go, and while she was burdening the deer he could not run.

Ace saw the deer's now helplessness and decided to bring it down. He clenched the deer's back foot (just above the hoof) and tugged hard, dragging the deer down and possibly tearing a ligament of it's flank. He looked over at Tasha, suggesting she end the deer's pain and deliver the final bite.

Tasha did what Ace suggested, and ended the deers life, then she started to eat, moving over to make room for Ace and suggest he come eat next to her. She wondered if Dawn would be suspicious of how she caught such a thing alone, but at that moment she couldn't care less. She was with Ace.

Ace bent down to eat, but he wasn't all that hungry. He just nibbled at it, enjoying Tasha's company. No part of his mind realised that if he didn't get back to the cave soon they would come looking for him. He was too distracted, too entranced, to... happy.

Tasha stepped delicately through the grass, before flopping down on it. It was getting cold, and the grass was turnt to sharp icicle sticks, it was starting to snow. The small, white flakes slowly landed on Tasha's fur, turning her completely white. She lay down in the snow, shivering a little, even with her warm fur as the temperature started to drop. She looked over sympathetically at Ace, who would have been freezing. The temperature started to drop even more, as day turned into Dusk, Dusk turned into night. She loved the moon, but she shouldn't be out at night -- more trouble for her. Ignoring this thought, she went and sat next to Ace, hoping to warm him a bit. "Are you cold?" She asked, her breath hanging in the air in the form of a white cloud as she spoke.

Umm, Ace has gone out on scouting patrol and met up with Tasha on the neutral territory , and they have just finished hunting, it is now night-time, and its starting to snow. Also, the wolf pack leader, Dawn, is suspicious of Tasha at the moment.
