I loved Sailor moon too when I was a kid but I wish it was still on TV. When it was on TV in 1999 I taped as many episodes as possible before they stopped showing it.

I'm a total old anime fan. I love Kimba The White Lion, Sailor Moon (I have all three movies), and Pokemon. I used to watch Pokemon and Sailor Moon as a kid. And I found Kimba STILL on since 1966 (The american release year). I guess I could say InuYasha. And I want to get into Wolf's Rain. But Kimba or Sailor Moon r my faves!!

:D :P :D :P

At the moment I'd say its Kino's Journey. Its quite different to most series. Its not action packed but its thoughtful and interesting. Its about a traveller (in a different world to ours) who journeys around and only stops for a maximum of 3 days no matter what in each town. Each town has very different values and culture etc. Some contradict each other, others may compliment each other. Its fascinating because its just about the variety in life. One episode might be about a town that would shock you regarding how they could live like that and others may want you wishing you could live like that... but thats just the way life is. Everyones different. Its kind of philosophical but I definitely don't think its like a boring social education lecture or anything. For action there is plenty at times since the traveller is also a master with using a pistol!

I also like Martian Successor Nadesico and too many to list but.... those two are the main ones I guess.

They showed us how they did it too. And they had to render each body part frame by frame!! I thought it was pretty impressive.

These aren't tv shows, but I think the best anime movies are Spirited Away and My Neighbor Totoro...XD
