I won't be watching the movie. Quite a lot of movies based on books have been awful, there have been really good ones (*coughlordoftheringscough*) but I really don't think Twilight will be "my cup of tea". I wasn't much impressed by the trailer and Edward already annoys me. >.>
I do however, move this topic to movies, seeing as this topic seems aimed more toward the film. Lol I lied. I just watched it and I was wrong, I love it and Edward doesn't annoy me anymore, I like him instead. XD Goes to prove you really can't judge something before seeing it. Twilight is awesome. <3

Goes to prove you really can't judge something before seeing it. Twilight is awesome. <3 I can't believe ya just said that. Ya shouldn't have an opinion about Twilight thinking it's bad when ya never saw the movie or read the book. Now, I did read the book(partly because my friends tricked me and partly because if I did I could comment all I want to about it). So, there's no way in h**l I'm ever reading the others or watching the movie. Ever. My opinion on it will never change.

I will report ya if ya do that again. It wasn't THAT bad, and you gotta admit it was pretty funny (and true).

This isn't 4chan on the random board ya know. This is Balto Source and there are rules!! I don't care how funny it was. It still doesn't belong here.

Not all Twilight fans are like that. And if they are ... then they have problems. That image is completely false, and only mocks the Twilight fandom. Why do people mock it? We love the book. So what? If you don't like it, that's fine. Just leave the ones who do like it the hell alone. Yes, if ya don't like Twilight then ya can say that but don't be rude about it. I'm sure the Twilight books would have been more enjoyable(to me) if they had been the first books to try vampire love or even better if they had invented vampire mythology which was completely destroyed/changed by Twilight(ya fans should at least admit that). I think Twilight's biggest mistake is that it tried to get it's foot into the whole vampire love thing but it came out about ten or even twenty years too late.

I think it's a very refreshing change to the usual vampire mythology. Twilight gives a whole new light to vampires, and managed not to make them savage and gorey; and yet not make them childish and simple. The whole vampire romance thing - "I love you, but I could kill you in an instant" - is extremely appealing to fans such as myself. I wasn't interested in vampires at all before I read Twilight. And now I am. The Twilight vampires fascinate me, to be honest.

Rebel™ wrote: The whole vampire romance thing - "I love you, but I could kill you in an instant" - is extremely appealing to fans such as myself. That kind of "love" sounds more abusive and frightening than just "normal" kinds of love. I fail to see how that kind of relationship is romantic or or healthy. I can't believe that somebody (fictional or not) would want to be in a relationship like that. Rebel™ wrote: I think it's a very refreshing change to the usual vampire mythology. While it may be refreshing, she should have kept at least some vampire mythology the way it was like turning into bats instead of flying like superman, or the whole I can walk out in sunlight thing is ridiculous. The worst-case-scenario is that because of Twilight people will forget about how vampires were meant to be portrayed and that kinda worries me. I mean what's next? How about we make all the terrible and evil monsters good guys and ruin their "image" too? Thanks to Twilight, what's to stop that from happening?
