Quote: Weeeeeeeeeell, I really like this girl called Georgia (Actually, change that... I really LOVE this girl called Georgia), and she knows that... But it's like she looks right through me and... Three weeks after I told her how much I actually loved her, she decides to go with someone else... And now everyone at school is saying "How do you feel?" In a way that there taking the mic. Oh, that majo sucks. Although, telling her how much you *love* her may have been a bit... overwhelming, especially if she barely even knew you beforehand. I had a very different case last year with a guy from my school, his name's Jamie. We were at the same school for 8 year (preschool - year 7) and it was only in year 7 that we were actually in the same class. It didn't take very long before I realised how similar we were and started to like him, but I kept it to myself for a few months. He was like my best friend out of the guys at school, but I liked hanging with him more than hanging with any of my girlfriends. Luckily, because we were so similar (spunky nerds, ya?) our teacher put us in pretty much the same *everything*. And, according to my friends, his friends, and friends of our friends (basically the whole grade, 50 people about) that it was really obvious that we liked each other, but we still didn't admit it. And guess what? We ended up going out--- for ONE DAY. It was really confusing and I got really upset, but we talked it out and then we weren't going out anymore, but we were friends again. This was mainly because of confusion, but partly because well... everyone was really annoying. REALLY ANNOYING. And we didn't talk as much. But urrgh. Why did he have to go to a different high school!!! Oh yeah, he sort of likes me but he won't go out with me now "Because I'll never see her again." But what was really weird is that today I was talking to my friends (formerly his friends) and they were totally ragging about how annoying and how much of a control freak and other terms that I will not type on a kid-friendly website! And... I'm just sitting there, very quietly. (Unusual for me.) But yah, anyway that's WAY off-topic.

But really, saying you love somebody is really a thing to do after you're their BF/GF. But yeah, I think that was pretty brave of you to do, heck it takes me months to admit to my *best friends* that I like someone, and I use the word 'sorta'. But they figure out before I tell them, anyway =)

There's one really interesting thing my school has been doing this week for Valentines day.
This year we started to tape our morning announcements and during this week people can pay two dollars to have a message to whoever they want be shown scrolling across the bottom of the screen along with other people's messages.
Most of the messages are really nice and caring but some of them are jokes which can be funny but some have also been mean-spirited.

Vivid: Love does not mean BF/GF, you can love ANYONE, and you cannot choose WHO you love, no matter how much you want to.

Conay is completely right. Everyone says teenagers don't know what love is, right? But we are TAUGHT from a young age that we LOVE our parents And we LOVE our siblings and we LOVE our pets... Love is a deep deep care for somone, where you would do anything for that person even if it meant you would die in their place... We do know what love is, and obviously, Conay loves Georgia. Even if she doesnt feel the same way, he loves her. That's not his fault.. He can't control it.

I think if a thirteen year old actually understood the meaning of non-family love, your story would appear on the front cover of Time Magazine.
Kaz - so you're dating someone who threatens to kill someone? You definitely know the meaning of love.

Very Ignorant, the fact you can accept that people can go through puberty, and gain emotions younger then you did? Also, what gets the front page is if you get someone pregnant, falling in love is another thing.

Also, what gets the front page is if you get someone pregnant, falling in love is another thing. Take a look at your own ignorance before calling out what you think is my own. For your information, I reached puberty at eleven years old. And to call puberty a time when you understand love is quite ignorant in itself. And the reason getting someone pregnant doesn't hit the front page is because it happens so often is in part because they don't understand love when they think they do.

Ghost, before you try throwing me by saying I don't know what outside family love means, I DO - Non of this "I doubt a 13 year old knows what it means" because I know perfectly well that I do! I know what love means, I feel it, not think it. If you still think I don't, then it's because you are to ignorant to accept it doesn't matter how old you are, you can fall inlove at any age (Mainly over the age of 10 though).
And yes, a 13 year ld getting pregnant DOES hit the front pages. Actually, it's almost all over the newspaper.

And yes, a 13 year ld getting pregnant DOES hit the front pages. Actually, it's almost all over the newspaper. Look, I am going to be very clear with you. You may be able to get away with arguing ill-thought out logic with other people on this site, but not with me. I am going to hold you to what you say. Now, if you read, you will notice that I did not say that I understood the meaning of love. I think I have some key understanding, but I would not suggest I fully know what it is. You'll notice that a lot of adults don't even know what true love is. I think you are ignorant to suggest that you know all these things about love at such a young age. EDIT: Perhaps the thirteen year old pregnancies hit the front pages, but I did not specify the age of the pregnancies. My point was that seventeen year olds get pregnant because of poor decisions.
