Ginger looked at Angel and Toby and smiled."Yeah,i think it's good idea.And,Toby,i think it would be better to not forget what she said when you were sleeping..."she said and quietly laughed.She was very happy of what she heard before.Ginger smiled to Toby."So,do you go?And Toby,when we finish our walking,i want to talk with you.Alone.Without Angel,okay?I have much to say to you..."she said and smiled.

shinxs sat at the window, watching the streets, hoping to catch another glimse of the wolf. she sighed 'why do i even care?' she thought, but still she sat watching. 'maby i could go after him..... no i can't...yes...no..' her thought argued and her stomache twisted. she wined and went out side and layed in the cool cement step in front of the door, thinking hard.

GInger turned to Toby.She decided that her friend,Angel,doesn't want GInger to told that secret about her love,so,Ginger just answered."Well,i was supposed to tell you this,but,i think,it would be better to keep it in secret...I think you will find out what i am talking about.Sorry for disturbing you."she smiled.She knows that Toby will become angry at her for this,butr she couldn't told Toby that Angel loves him...He have to find it by himself...

Toby looked at Ginger in a puzzled way. He shook his head and said under his breath "Town dogs." He rolled his eyes and said "I'd better be going now, bye, Ginger." Then, without waiting for a goodbye, Toby walked off. As soo as he was out of sight of the town, he ran. Ran back to his den. Luckily, the evil wolves had not descovered it. Toby lay down, and, as his eyes closed, watched the sun sink lower in the sky. He was tired.... Toby woke up with a sudden jolt as he heard a noise. Hw stayed still, not wanting to alert the intruder to his prescence. His Emerald green eyes turned to slits, and he listened. He heard a faint sound, then a closer one. I was an evil wolf. They passed him, luckily, without noticing. He could tell they were evil by their smell. He decided he couldn't return to the town tomorrow, it was too risky. But of course, he did... He woke in the morning, the sun was just rising, the clowds were pink and his eyes reflected in the sun. The drops of dew sparkled in the early sunshine, and the leaves and trees smelt of rain. Toby loved the smell, he decided to go hunting. It was the perfect morning for it. He managed to catch two rabbits, and a mole. Then he started walking off towards the town without realising it. He ended up in the park.

Ginger walked to sleep in one place where she was always sleeping.Near the park.But she couldn't sleep that night.She cannot close her eyes.She was dreaming nightmares,she was very hungry and tired,but she knows that she cannot sleep.So,when morning comes,she was very tired and cannot walked a few steps on the ground.She was very hungry,but she cannot hunt.She saw a little river in the park and tried to get to that place.She does and started to drink.Then she saw Toby."Hello Toby.What's up?"she said very quietly.

Toby had been sitting in the park when he heard "Hello, Toby, Whats up?" He was barely able to hear it, over the racket of something he could hear nearby. He looked up and saw Ginger. "Town dogs... Do they follow me?" He thought. "Hello, Ginger." He said, queitly. He was starting to get fond of the Town dogs.. So he decided to drop his serious-all-the-time act for a little while. He grinned. "The skies whats up, Ginger!" His smile turned into a frown when he heard "Help, help" He got up to investigate, but before he could he heard a dog rush behind a bush. He went over to the bush, hearing whimpering. "Why do humans hate me?" Asked a voice he recognised... Angel.
Silently Toby walked up to Angel. "Humans... Are very hard to understand.. And they don't understand us. Try to help them, they might hurt you. Try to hurt them, They might help you.... Some are good, some bad. Some like dogs, some don't. Some like wolves..... Most don't." He said. "You will find nice humans, ones that understand you, but.... I don't know many good humans. Truth is, I don't know any humans" He said this, faintly smiling at the last part. "you most likely wonder how I know this..." He let his voice trail off, without finishing his sentence.

Toby was surprised, and didn't know what to do "I....." He said. Then he stopped talking. Angel was crying at his feet. He lay down and rested his head lightly on her back. "Angel.... Things happen.... that we... cannot control" He said in a quiet voice. "Things have happened that I cannot control, When you love something, you.... take with it the chance you will lose it. By death, injury or by being taken away, some things don't stay around forever..... Nothing does, really. Some things might last a life-time, but nothing lasts forever." He talked in a soothing voice. "You did the right thing, Angel by saving the girl, I would have, and the humans would have tried to shoot me. I might have died, but I would have helped." His voice was almost a whisper now. Suddenly his eyes closed. He decided to show her something. Wolves can sometimes communicate through their mind, although most dogs couldn't. He showed her one simple thing. A picture. Three wolves lay, surrounded by blood, they looked like him, one with yellowish fur. Their eyes were glassy, and a lone wolf sat near them, crying. A long, Sorrowful howl pierced the air. Then mocking laughter. "you will pay, YOU WILL PAY!" said the lone wolf. It was Sorrow. "This is after my pack was taken over by a traitor... He killed my family, he ruined my pack... They were my life. Nothing lasts forever, Angel.. . Nothing." He was thought speaking to her. Then he was silent. He opened his eyes.

shinxs pulled on the leash, exsited to get to the park. something important was there. she felt it deep inside. her eyes lit up when the park cam into view. tall pine trees stood up, in perfect rows, little human paths led in every direction, and the benches that humans filled in the summer were empty. the cool breeze cooled her fur. she enterd the park every sence was on end.

Toby was surprised when he got the image. "Not many dogs can do that, Angel.. You have a gift. Use it well." He said. "what happened to you... Must have been horrible. You too lost your family." He wondered how many dogs had this 'Physic' power. "I must go now... Please, do not follow me. I must go back to my den to hunt. Farewell, Take care, Angel." he said. He got up and walked over to the other side of the park, behind some trees. Then he froze... "she's here" He thought. The dog he had saved was there, pulling at her leash. "Will her owners let her off? Will she smell me? Will she sense me, See me? What will she do? Will her owners see me? Will they try to hurt me?" He asked himself, A million questions were racing though his mind. "Will I finally meet her??" He thought
