Brahma was a little startled by Ginger's hug, no one had hugged him since his mate. Tears crept into his eyes as he thought of her. Angel reminded him of her, something about her seemed almost wolfish. He stuggled to his feet and went up to the male husky that was standing nearby.

Ginger turned to Brahma. She saw that he's sad."What's happened?Something's wrong?"she walked up to him and looked deeply into his eyes.

Brahma heard the Ginger and Angel talking and stopped. He turned to them slowly and mumbled 'A long time ago I had a mate, she was my best friend really, but, a bear attacked while I was out, I heard it and didn't get there in time, it broke my leg and that is there to remind me never to leave anyone I care about alone, even for a second.' He looked up, first at Ginger and then at Angel. She is a lot like my mate, just as beautiful, but if I get attached to anyone then I might make that mistake again he thought. 'Angel I only cry when I look at you because you remind me so much of her' he said, his words catching at the back of his throat as he started to cry again.

Brahma knew the pain she was feeling and out of what he thought was instinct, he lay down beside her, nuzzled her and then lay his head on her back.

Ginger looked at them."Okay you two!Let's forget those bad things! They happened a long time ago...We have to start a new life."she said. She was a bit jealous that Brahma and Angel become so...close to eachother.

Brahma stood up as well, 'I am going to find a place to sleep tonight for all of us, it is going to be cold' he said as he saw the snow start to fall. Turning around he walked into the forest. He knew a good place but wasn't sure if it could hold so many dogs, his memory said it could but his memory was often wrong.

Brahma found the place, an old tree that had fallen down to make a nice large cave, plenty of room for a couple of dogs. He wandered back and saw Angel on the ground with her eyes closed. A horrible vision came to him of his mate lying on the ground, dead, and the bear standing next to her. His eyes blazed in a mad fury as he lept at Ginger.
