What Breed Of Dog Do You Own?

I have a miniature Dachshund named Riley!

Interesting facts about Dachshunds:

1. The Dachshund is originaly from Germany.
2. Dachshunds are hunting dogs, for small animals
3: The name Dachshund means "Badger dog" in German because they are known to take on any animal bigger than them to defend themselves, even an animal as fierce as a badger or a bear.
4: They bred the miniature dachshund because they need a dog with shorter, but sturdier legs because regular dachshunds legs would be sore after a hunting day of digging for rabbits in their burrows.
5: I believe that Miniature dachshunds are bred from a miniature poodle and a dachshund.
6: There are three different fur types for Dachshunds, wire hair, short hair, and long hair.
7: They are also known as, weiner dogs or sausage dogs!

~xXx~

I also have a lab, pit bull, and boxer mix! But I don't really know much about that mixed breed XD! Her name is Coaco!

I have:

a 13-14 year old Australian Shepherd/German Shepherd mix (who sadly will not be with us for much longer. Cancer is a plague.)
a 4 year old Australian Cattle Dog
an 11 month old Border Collie/Labrador Retriever mix
and two 9 week old Shetland Sheepdog puppies

I no longer own:

an Australian Cattle Dog (lost her in the Summer of 2008

)
a Beagle mix (hit by a car when I was young)
a Dalmatian (sold her to a breeder. She just had too much energy for our small yard and no one had time for her then. I was only in the 1st grade, and I didn't really know how to deal with her.)
