I might see if I can find out with the Internet Administration Board (or whatever) and see what the've got to say. But in my eye, if all you do is ban the computer from BS - Your allowed, however I may (And most likely) Be wrong.

It actually depends if hacking is illegal in the country the server is hosted in which I think is France. I don't know the French law but I am fairly certain it is illegal.
Edit: Not only that, but if there -were- a way to ban a computer by hacking you really think Steet and all the mods are going to be able to learn how to do that without also getting in trouble (if they could indeed manage to learn it in the first place)? No.

Also, someone could mess up and cause damage to a computer.

The code would automaticly be in place - Unless steet messes the original code up, it should all work fine.

It's just plain Wrong and Too extreme. It can especially cause legal difficulties and yea... i wonder if law suits can occur if there is damage done by the hacking program used on the computer.. Well...I'll see if I can find out it will be allowed for that perpose, and that perpose ONLY.

Mohammad891 wrote: How do you intend to do that? I think pretty much taking hacking into your hand will to insure it wont create problems will create problems since first of all what reputation will you give of bs. Bs Breaks personal privacy of their members to ban them.. which could have later side affects as hacking involves using a virus which could cause serious damage. Which would Reduce membership due to insecurity. Mhm. That was exactly what i'm worried about... But I still think someway it can be done safely.

Conay, you have no argument. Hacking is illegal world-wide in any form - even if you're not viewing any files (which you technically are the moment you enter someone's computer: you are vieweing the operative system files aka the desktop). Also, hacking is a very difficult process - partially explained here: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=22401Which also explains why people on BS aren't hacked and how to prevent it as good as possible.

I know someone who can hack, and whom is a Moderator of the site. However the problem in a way is on the automatic basis, and for that exact reason. Mohammad891 wrote: Its against the rules to invade a persons Privacy by hacking. So its a definite not allowed action. As long as your not viewing files, or downloading stuff on there computer, it is perfectly legal.[/quote] It isn't legal to use a security breach to harm a computer. Whether this is for spamming, getting information like credit cards numbers, or for sending viruses or anything...This is not legal.
