Siiigh...Wishbone is the thing that got me into reading. I wish they'd make more.

They used several dogs to make Wishbone (Soccer and another dog, I think). They could have easily found a replacement if he died, so it's not that.

A couple years back they started playing reruns on television again. It was the only reason I watched TV the entire week (all the shows for kids my age then were junk, or were old shows they ruined by remaking!). But then they canceled it again later!! D:

Aw, dang this was one of my fav programs as a kid. Was saddened when I couldn't find it on TV anymore.
I can find a couple episodes on-line (and have some VHS tapes from way back), but I do wish it'd come out on DVD already.
...and if it is, then it should worm it's way into the nearby Wal*Mart! >.<

The only reason I know it is because I have the Wishbone and the Amazing Odyssey game. Unfortunately on XP it's rather slow and clunky and you can't get past the part where you blind the troll.

You must mean Polyphemus, the cyclops.

Son of Poisdon god of the sea, and no they shouldn't have canceled it, because wishbone had great educational value in incouraging kids to read.

Yeah, in the Flash version. I can't run the other actual exe one, so dunno what's wrong there.
