Ariel walked through the alley ways. She was in desperate need of food. She sniffed the ground and found a scent and it led her to behind a dumpster. She ppushed it will all her forse, and saw nothing but a fish that was eated exept for it's head, and alot of flies around it. she pushed it back and continued to walk. She then had to walk through and alleyway that was flooded up to her anckles. she then herd a meow. Her ears went up and she turned around. There was a poor Siamese, Black and white cat mix in the puddle. It was soaking wet and it was shivering. She felt sad for the kitten because it was so small. She looked around for the kitten's mother but didnt see anything. She picked up the kitten and continued to walk untill she came across other dogs that were arguing.

JAde picked up her pup and ran after her friends. "My mate lives in the woods and can help us and any other dogs get out." she said.

"No, you have it, I insist." said Chris. He looked up at the rain, he felt an ominious about it, it wasn't your everyday storm. "You'd better get to high ground, it looks like its going to flood but I need to go make sure my mate and son are ok, do you know my mate? Jade?"

Surf had wiggled away from her owner's eye as she watched her town dogs making a run for it. She noticed Jade and her pup and quickly hopped down from the window and took chase after them. She looked up to mount diablo and smiled slowly, an old trail hunto for her. She skidded past the golden and ran next to Ryder and the eldest of them, then lowered her shoulders, being more limber then them rushed foorward, meeting up with Cadmus and ran in stride with him "what about our humans? we cant just leave them behind...can we?" Her tone was low.

Zini walked away from them. "I'am leaving tthis town!" Zini said. "Bye!!" She was angry at all of them.And she didn't knew why.

Chris ran up to Jade and Luke and nuzzled them. "Thank goodness you're alright! I was so worried!" he said. He looked at the others then at the trail. "I know some short cuts on that trail that will cut a good bit of time."

"Papa!" said Luke, nuzzling his father, one of his floppy ears landing on his eyes, that happened a lot.

Jade moved Luke's ear and chuckled. "This is Chris, he's my mate." she said. "And this is Luke, our son." she said, probably suprising her friends that her mate was a Coyote.

Ariel sat down in the puddle. She looked down at the ground and sighed. The kitten had died and now she was all alon. she thhen herd dogs barking and alot of noice to follow it. Another Siamese cat ran under her legs and was the same age a s the oter one. Ariel grabed the kitten and ran. She then started to run after the dogs. He came across them and sighed. " I'm sorry to bother you...but...may we join?" she asked as she held the kittens tail with her paw so it wouldnt run away.
