To GodzillaWolf:
He was pretty cool, pretty scary for a dog though. And its not so much that it was out of place but, rather that the way he got it back was way too magical. If he could get it back that easily, why didnt he do it before?
Also if he could open the gate in the kennel at the dog fights why didn't he leave before?

First, yes Diablo was good for the part, he was a very intimadating dog. I think they were going for him not really having the motivation to do it before, though it could've been done a lot better, focusing more on him searching for our herorine.
I think the reason he didn't leave before was because maybe he wanted revenge on Diablo and wanted to fight him or because he didn't have the motivation and did it because he actuelly cared for Chloe and didn't want her to get hurt, though it is possible at that point he was just pitying her.

OMG this movie looks dumb =.=

I would honestly rather sit for two hours and watch Barney than go see a movie about talking rats (Chihuahuas should NOT be considered ''canines''. More like rats, if you ask me...).

At least Barney isn't completely mind-rotting -.-

hey! Chihuahas are NOT RATS!! No dog is! and, by the way, you just quoted what the iguana (or whatever it was) said in the commercials.

and, next time, you might want to be more careful when talking to a dog lover. Some might not be as nice as me!

Hm...I'll be sure to word myself more carefully next time
And don't act like I'm not a dog lover.
I have more dogs than any other animal in my house.
Don't go assuming things.
Back on topic, though...

@RagingBalto: Sorry 'bout that D:
Opinions, opinions, opinions :/

ok. but, i have to admit, sometimes i can get a little defensive when it comes to animals, especially dogs. though i do defend humans too. (mostly my sister.)

First reactions upon the adverts?

Sheesh.

After watching the theatrical trailer, I actually don't think it looks half bad. xDD

Overall, I think it looks quite cute. Yes, it looks typically stereotypical, but kinda promising.
At least to me anyway.

And personally, I love CGI. *points to avatar* I think too many people hate it. I'm sure a lot of effort is put into it, and it's really sweet to see animals with mouths that actually move when they talk. I personally think it's very clever.

Some things were a little over-the-top, but I'm not bothered.

I might see this movie.

I agree with you that CGI works well with animals, the only problem I have with CGI is when they use WAY too much bad CGI. If any of you have ever seen a Scifi Channel Original Movie, you know what I mean.

Aye that's my point. That CGI usually does work well with animals. :)

I hate bad CGI ... who doesn't?? xD But the CGI in this film looks pretty good.
So, to me, it's worth seeing. Just to check it out. I won't judge the movie until I've actually seen it.
