Life Story: The day he was born, he got seperated from his birth mother. He was barely breathing, lying on a patch of grass still on the ground before it got completly covered in freezing snow. Fire Ryuu whimpered loudly in the deaf night, hoping, praying that someone would come find him. A 16 year old girl was walking around in the forest, while searching for some wood to use to make a fire. She heard the whimpering and followed it to a open grove, full of giant aspen trees. There, in the middle of the grove, lying on the last patch of living grass, was Fire Ryuu. He was shivering and whimpering louder. The girl ran over to the cold pup and quickly took off her winter coat, wrapping him up in it. She hurried back into her cabin, with Fire Ryuu in her arms. He shivered more as the 16 year old held him closer to her chest, trying to keep him warm and out of the cold. The girl asked her parents if she could keep Fire, but, they shook their heads "no". She pleaded and pleaded until she was crying, the pup poped his small head out of her coat, looking up at her with his soft golden eyes. He howled softly and quietly, then reached up with his paw and touched her tan cheek with it. The girl glanced up at her parents, then back down at Fire, she smiled slightly. Her parents looked at eachother, their daughter, and then at Fire Ryuu. He looked back at them and stared at them. Both the mother and father nodded their heads "yes" at their daughter. The daughter smiled widely, and held Fire up to her face. He yipped with glee and licked her cheek.
About his name: If you're wondering what "Ryuu" means. It's the Japanese meaning for "Dragon".
