That's a fantastic comparison and for me, personally, it's a bit hard to choose.

I love both characters, despite the fact that the fans saw little of Sarabi in her film. But I'm going to say I like them both equally.

As it's been brought back, I thought I'd post my opinion.

Personally, I prefer Sarabi.

She's caring, gentle and motherly and even thought she only has a few seens, I find her personality is obvious. I've always loved Jenna to of course, but there's something about her that I'm not keen on...not entirely sure what though... c:

Oh joy. A 'vs.' topic. Well since they're both good characters that could be debated about well... possibly... I'll throw in my useless two bits.

I don't think I can cover as well as catwhohas14tails did [in saying Sarabi is the better]. I loved both characters.
Both had strong personalities and weren't a couple of Mary Sues. Though when you think about it secondary character wise,
Sarabi goes through so much more than Jenna [again, as cat pointed out], and she isn't even as big a character as Jenna was.
I want to say 'Sarabi' as final vote in this. If it were 'Nala or Jenna', I'd probably tie for that one for they're more similar.

Sarabi. I think she's much tougher than Jenna, as she's lost a husband, and her son for awhile, while watching her home for who knows how long slowly destroy and suffer.

And Jenna, well, I think she was just a love intrest to make Balto more intresting. Not that intresting to me.

And besides, I don't think Jenna was as good as a mother as Sarabi was, like Cat said, she seemed to pay attention more. And Jenna, eh, she was OK. Is there any other reason to like Jenna more? Because I'm only getting the impression people like her because she is a dog and was Balto's love interest...

I perfer both.
Sarabi you didnt get to know her as much, as you know Jenna.
Jenna also seemed to be like the most popular doggie around.
Sararbi was just basically known as Simba`s mother.
I just say both.

i would say jenna because i know her more and she is one of my favorite charaters.

I like both, But I guess Sarabi. Just because I love lions.
