Cat--> Do you really think we're being un-original? (<--not a real word that I know of XD)

I'll try out, I guess. :]

Name: Heidi [High-dee]
Gender: Female
Personality: Heidi has absorbed much of her personality from her great grandmother, Storm. She is roudy, spunky, and a tough girl. At first glance, she may seem distant and quiet, but once something sparks her interest or something she has to add her input, her true self will just spill out. Heidi is, however, two-faced; one minute she's your best friend, but the next minute she's chewing on your back. Not as much as an attention snatcher, she enjoys a bit of solitude and isolation -don't get me wrong, she thrives on close friends and a few family members. Headstrong, immature, bold, witty, sarcastic, and often speaks when she should hold her tongue. Her flaming personality is not something that can be held back by other words often; it takes much more than a sensibly verbal knock to the head to get her to back down. Heidi is not the one to take a broken promise or bad debt easily. She keeps her word and pays her dues on time, so, why can't you? Accepting conventions and authority is beyond her, but she will respect them nonetheless.
History: Not being one of the most popular dogs of Nome, Heidi is otherwise well known. She has yet to face a traumatic stage in her young life, as well as having any crushes. So far, she is living with her parents (or mother) dreaming of finding the perfect home and experience the life of a housepet. After that, well, she may dream of becoming a sled dog.
Origin of the character: Well I wanted to try and create a character that resembled a littl bit of every character that is related to this litter. Obviously she looks more like her mother and father, her head markings and around the eyes were based off of Storm and her back legs were originally just there because they were, but then I looked at Boomer and figured that would tie the loose ends there. Her eyes were just randomly colored and everything else was just a blend of Iron and Saba. I also was interested to attempt and create a littermate to Stunner and wanted to test my "originality" skills.

Name: Saimar (A shortened version of the Inuit word, 'blessing')

Gender: Male

Personality: A lot like Boomer and Quinn. A little quiet, yet eager for attention and recognition. Not quick to judge others. Saimar dreams of being a sled dog but is content for now with leading his sibs to bring antitoxin to save the town of chew-toys lol. He has a bit of pride (but with a father like Iron, how could you help it?) but would NEVER cheat or steal. He tends to look down on those who do, although he's very loyal and won't believe that you've cheated or stolen until he has solid evidence. With that information, he might make a good police dog.

History: Saimar's one of the largest (if not THE largest) pups in the litter. He's like Steele and Iron where his height is concerned, but has Jenna's and Quinn's grace and agility. He loves Stunner and doesn't really care whether or not SHE likes HIM. Quinn named him.

Origin of the Character: As already stated, I do not have a bunch of Quinn/Iron pup designs laying around XD I noticed that there are a lot of blonde pups on this topic, so I made him varying shades of red.

Likes: Winter, pulling a sled, running, saving people, helping out, playing with his sibs, meat, many humans (especially Meg).

Dislikes: Annoying people/dogs who get underfoot, snooty dogs, liars, cheaters & stealers, heat, sleeping.

Origin of colors:

-Saimar's red coat comes not from Quinn, but from Boomer (it's a lighter color than Quinn's).
-The dark red patches over his eyes he inherited from Steele via Koga. Their color (dark red) is from Quinn.
-His red mask he gets from Boomer also, but it's darker and more of Quinn's color.
-His triangle-ears he gets from Anna. The color of them (lighter red, same as his coat) are from Boomer.
-The dark diving stripe down the center of his face he inherited from Storm, his great-grandmother. The coloring of that marking (very dark red) is from Quinn. (Her ears are about that color.) The fact that it extends back into his scruff is because of Ruslan. Its dark red coloring he also got from Quinn.
-His eye color (bright blue) is inherited from Steele, his grandfather.
-His "strip" (I wish there was a name for it) along the lower edge of his body he inherited from Anna. The color of that marking (dark red) is from Quinn.
-His tail marking he got from Storm. The colorings of those markings are from Boomer (lighter red) and Quinn (darker red).
-Finally, his undercoat color or base color (light tan) is from Quinn.

Note: As you can see, the majority of his markings are inherited directly from Boomer and Quinn. No one had really tried that before, so I thought I'd give it a go.

Name: Adair (A-dare)
Gender: Male
Personality: He is very proud of himself, mostly when he finds somthing he is good at. He loves to be the center of attention, around friends or his parents. He adores his father, for being a running dog (I forgot if her was a mail, or race dog).
History: Adair grew always trying to get away from home, liking to explore the town. He found a cat one night getting into a fight with it. He got a small scar on his inner thigh.
Origin of the character: I created Adair after reading you story,A miracle. Just as a fan.. thing. I found him in my lost files, then found this contest, changed his colors a bit when I saw the already entered pups.

I think I'll give this a go, I might do a female puppy aswell, as soon as I think of a design anyway X3


Name: Conan
Gender: Male
likes: play fighting, running, chasing small birds and mammals
dislikes: losing an argument, being told what to do, being in a harness

Personality: Adventerous,stubborn, playful, loves getting into trouble, but he can sometimes be arrogant selfish and over protective, like his father.

History: He got along well with his siblings most of the time. but would always egg them on or dare them into doing dangerous things. so he often got in trouble with his parents. when they were adopted by Humans Conan went to a Musher. Though he never became lead dog because of his stubborn behaviour and his refusual to run when he didnt feel like it. he was eventually abandoed by the musher, when an argument with one of the other dogs in the team got out of hand

Origin of the character: We'll I saw a link to this contest in the shout box a little while ago and thought I'd give it a go

Name: Ashley
Gender: Female
Personality: Brave, Strong, could be a bitch at times, always sticks up for friends or family, crazed about fighting, snobby, and she can always play hard to get.
History: When growing up, she always had a difficult time trying to fit in. Most of the time she was timid and always stood around her mother. Then one day she she snapped and attacked one of her siblings, because she was received an insult. She loved the feeling of fighting, and being dominate of her siblings. And thats when she became a snobby, bitch. (Sorry for my language ^^')
Origin of the character: Before I was browsing the forums of Balto Source, I drew a dog on paper. But thats before I colored her markings, then I went onto BS and saw this and noticed Cat had a contest. I thought "What the heck, I guess I'll give it a shot!" Then I coloured Ashley, giving her a spunky attiude.

Hope you like it Cat, I'm sure I wont win, but I do hope you have fun with the contest! =)

Just a quick question cat if we win are we allowed to have the pup (in any continuation fan-fic that could be written) go abroad as is in leave Nome or do they have to stay in the relative area?

Name: Emma

Age: pup's age

Gender: Female

Personality: She's very Marie and Saba in a way. She's sweet kind and loving but can be stuck-up and rude once in a while. She does listen but often goes off todo her own thing and gets in trouble. She's very energetic and fast. She does have some manners, but often doesnt use them the right way.

History: She's one of the last to be born (if thats alright). She always loved to spend time with her mother. She rarely saw her father with made her very sad. She's close to Stunner and loves to be with her. She loves playing with Magna alsol.

Origin of character: I though that there's too many boy pups that are blonde so i made a girl. I love designing pups so i made another this contest.

Design: She mostly gets her looks from Saba in general but also has the ''Anna stripe'' because she looked to much like a clone. The stripe is Brown which is manely from Anna and the colour of it can be from Susie. Her brown ears come from Balto and her eyes come from Steele.

I don't care what you do with them, as long as it doesn't interfere too much with my stories for other characters. It shouldn't be a problem, but you might want to check with me with what you're going to do with them. However, I do know that each pup WILL be adopted. Poor Meg's mother can't keep more than three dogs, thats too much

I'll give it a shot. Hopefully this is creative enough. I tried to base her off Saba's side of the family tree (because everyone is focused on Iron's).

Name: Taini (means 'returning moon') tae-nee
Gender: Female
Personality: Taini tries very hard to be loyal and trustworthy, and can't stand to see anyone she cares about in stress. The mix is kind and gentle, but when the time comes she is horribly stubborn and stands up for her rights and others. She can also be strict and stuck up (but only rarely). Taini doesn't like solitude, although she does like to sit and howl to the moon sometimes. Other than that Taini can’t stand to be alone. One of the young dog's pet-peeve is solitude but she also hate to have attention, snotty dogs and being alone. Taini can be vain and thinks highly of what others think of her and can be very judge mental. (Taini's personality is a bit of a war between her wolf side(loyal and helpful) and dog side(vain and judge mental).
History: Taini is fairly popular in Nome but she is uninterested in boys or popularity. She has a great life with her parents but is adopted by a family. As she grows up, Taini has an obsession with running. She the thrill and feeling of it.Taini breaks out of her home a lot to go running. Her family sells the young mix to be a sled dog. She tries out for sled dog life but doesn't make the cut. After that, Taini seeks out more adventure and drama in her life and sets out on her own. (I might change it later).
Origin of the character: Created her last year while watching "Cats Don't Dance" and it was on today so I pulled her old file back up, changed some markings and inked her in Photoshop. Before I kind of just colored her but she never had a personality so I’m glad she might have a purpose now.

Markings: I took a big risk with the markings so if you don't like 'em I won't be offended, but first, at least read to the bottom of the bio, because her markings just might be genetically possible. At least I was original. XD I tried to base them off Ruslan and Marie.

Colors- Her main color is based of Marie's but is a darker shade. Taini's dark red color was inherited from somewhere in Saba's side. How ever her light red/brown was a mix of Balto's light brown and Jenna's red. The tan is from Iron.
Head- The light red/brown on her face is from Balto and Ruslan. Her cheek marks curve down like Ruslan's and she has eye marks like Balto. Taini's red ears are from Saba.
Legs- Her legs marks are lower than Saba's but much higher than Balto's. The color is mainly random. (I blame genetics). Taini's back legs are much lower -but inherited from- Balto.
Body- Her body is based off Balto (once again). Although it is scruffier and poofs up more.
Saddle- Her tan saddle is either a major exaggeration of Ruslan's or a tan, less curvy version of Storm's.
Eyes- Yellow from the wolf in her and hazel (the picture is very deceptive).

I'll post a puppy picture of her soon. Although I'll probably change her colors because their
