Well yeah, they're definitely different things. RED is apparently considered nu-metal, but they have no rapping whatsoever in any of their music.

They were influenced by Linkin Park though. RED is missing the rap part but since Linkin Park is nu metal then I guess that's what RED called themseves.

I dont Know Linkin Park as people so I cant say.

Same Goes for Korn But I can find out because I know someone who knows them well.

slipknot is in it for the fans and for theyer own personal expresion and art.

System of a down isnt in it anymore and when they where it was to get a message accross

and limp bizzkit are sell outs.

LP started as some freinds from highscool just to have some fun as the band Xero. After their lead vocalist, some dude named Mark, quit, they wanted to continue with their band. After they found Chester Bennington they Changed their name to Hybrid Theory and came out with their EP. Only about 10,000 were made and sold. People really liked them and they changed their name from Hybrid Theory to Linkin Park. They came out with their first full album, Hybrid Theory. A few years later they came out with Meteora. They decided they wanted to change their style a bit and came out with Minutes to Midnight last year.

Why, like, why why why, does everyone hate Miley Cyrus! I'll create a topic solely for the purpose of asking this, seeing as it is a common thing... anyway, back on topic.

I absolutely hate HSM (High School Musical) :shaking:

Umm, I hate PCD (Pussy Cat Dolls) and ermm... any music that makes you feel like crap. In my opinion, music is there to make you feel better about yourself, or tell a message, not to listen to some guys screaming about how their life sucks... or anything of the like.

EDIT: I'm not gonna make a topic asking people why they hate Miley Cyrus, because it'll turn into flame. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, and this is just mine.

I absoluty HATE miley cyrus!! Her voice is just as annoying as her show!
And the Jonas brothers. They dont sing very well to be honest. My opinion deal with it.
