If nothing else were to come of it, you can always know that. I still don't know about this. One factor weighs against any candidate (doesn't have to be just me): there has been no indication from steet that he wants new global forum moderators, or even form section moderators or BS or LKS moderators. He's quite explicit about that. And I've already indicated another major factor weighing against me in particular. lol Still, it's a very kind gesture on your part. It's my pleasure, I fight for what I beleve in, But I feel that if you became a moderator, it would help the site ALOT.

And I have never asked (nor will I ever...the rule, after all, is the rule). If steet needs a mod, he'll call for it. Or I suppose he could take recommendations by PM. But I dare not even suggest it. I'm not exactly Mr. Popularity. ROFL. But I do believe I could do a very good job. *SIGH* " Que sera, sera..." Still, I could suggest this to Steet, whilst no one is on Well, to be exact, I've sent a PM, to Togo, and Steet, about the Moderators, and Jersey, i've nominated you is that even alowed? you dont have any sort of power to do that do you mighty? steet doesnt accept random pleas to become a mod as well as "nominations" from random people either.

The members don't choose randomly who becomes a moderator. That power lies with the webmaster. Anyway, unless Steet or Togo say otherwise, we have more than enough mods, I think. Disagree with me, I don't really care but my point and my opinion on this has been known.

Well, it was more of a suggestion due to Drewthewolf's inactivity on the forum (Probably and the site). And I thought Jersey would fit the role

Drew the Wolf has been around, but she too, has a life and other things besides being a mod here. As for Jersey Captian being a mod... In order to avoid any confrontation, no comment.

It just needed to be said... and I think this site has too many mods anyways. If you think it needs more, than make your own site and run that. (Which I know you already have)... Now, as to "too many moderators", well, perhaps it does. I suppose steet assigned several moderators to main site features in order to make sure there was as much coverage as possible. Strange that almost all of those mods seem to have the mindset that they can do their jobs whenever they get around to it, and that "it's summer, not a lot of people are on then". There's more excuse-making for moderators who aren't on, doing their jobs, than the jobs needing to be done (and which are left UNdone). And those few mods who actually ARE on are overworked and stressed out. (And then we have some shoutbox and features moderators who are either doing a poor job or, worse, take part in the cyberbullying and flaming which often go on in the shoutbox. Or make extremely unfair, biased, or inefficient judgement calls when problems happen there). So the problem really isn't "too many mods". It's too many mods not signing on to do their jobs, and some mods who don't have the right attitude and sense of responsibility to BE mods. That's the root of the problem on this site (and its various sections). I'll stand by this: if a staffer cannot take the time to do his or her job on a consistent, timely and frequent basis, then they have no business whatsoever being staffers...and should be removed from their positions. Period. I really don't care WHO they are. Further, they should have never accepted the positions they hold in the first place if they had no intentions or expectations of fulfilling them in a consistent, timely, and frequent manner. (And since all activities are logged on an administration page somewhere, for the staff to view and review, as Mastermind has pointed out on several occasions, then ANY staffer who engages in bad, abusive, or otherwise unacceptable behavior should NOT be coddled... ever. They should be suspended as staffers or, even better, removed promptly.) I always see talk of "we're working on it". I see no results. None. I still see moderators violating the expectations of good form, responsibility and impartiality in the shoutbox (and NOT being held accountable for it...in a way that we general members DESERVE to know. I am not interested in reading about how such information should not be made available to the general membership because it would "compromise the moderators abilities to do their jobs and get people to cooperate." First, they need to DO their jobs. And if they are violating the aforementioned rules and expectations, then they already are setting a BAD example, and therefore do not merit any respect), and I still see TONS of mods not signing on to do their jobs. And I STILL see jobs left undone or hopelessly delayed. I am a member and, like any member, I want results. I expect results. And I am still waiting FOR results. Not an assurance that "we're working on it". I want confirmed results which can be seen...which bring about the changes we have all been saying AD NAUSEUM that are needed. Your lucky I read all of that, i've got a spliting head ache. But anyway, I understand your point, witch in a way is my main topic, mods need to be replaced (Well some do anyway). But yet, Steet and Togo, do not seem to get this into there brains.
