The skunk continued to slowly walk through the horde of snakes, patiently waiting for them to move before he put his paw down. He stepped out of the snake pit on the other side after probably an hour and a half of walking.

"Now you swim me across the river or get a face full of musk." said the skunk, matter of factly. Still, this probably showed Steele two things, one over coming something that probably scared him, what dog wasn't afriad of snakes? And patience is sometimes ver importent.

The skunk got off his back on the other side. "Thank you, I hope you learned the importence of patcence, impatientess would of killed you back there." he said. "Tell the Raven I said hi." he said and before Steele's eyes vanished in a puff of mist.

The Raven flew over Steele with a screech. It was a good thing that he was learning the lessions and not attacking the teachers. He kept trying to lead.

The raven flew ahead again and a cayote stood ahead of Steele. "Hello, so you're following the raven?" he asked. This time Steele wasn't being taught who to listin to but who not to listin to, the cayote was the trickster.

"It went that way." said the cayote, pointing to a path. "But there's a lost female up that way, she's really hot and a pack of deer." he said, pointing to a diffrent path. He was trying to trick Steele, the path he said had a female really lead back to where Steele started.

The cayote rolled on his back and laughed. "Man the raven told me you should be a lot harder to trick!" he said. "Don't you know? Cayotes are tricksters." he said. "Not fun being tricked is it? Well not for the believer but for the trickster, its hilerious!" he said. "Since I'm a good sport, I'll point you down the right path." he said and pointed to a path, which was actuelly one that would lead him to a dead end, the real path was to Steele's right. This test was partly to teach Steele not to trust a stranger and partly to give him a taste of his own medicine.
