the coloour of your eye is something to do with (obviously) genetics and the colour pigments. blue eyes (like mine) have no pigment. but your eyes do actually change colour! i think this is right - everyone is born with blue eyes but they change or dont. my eyes are wierd, they change with my mood.

in love - deep blue
happy - bright blue
tired - bloodshot
unhappy - dull
angry - grey
drunk - yellow

i don't think i had pink eye, my dad said that i probably burst a blood vein from coughing too much.

i remember my best friend in manatoba had kind of dusty blue eyes, and mine are darker than his.

it doesnt stay for life it goes away. i did that once, first it was red then after about 4 days it turned brown and got a little smaller every day. then about 2 weeks later it was gone.

and my eyes are blue but when im tired or upset, they are grayish.

I had bright blue eyes when i was a lil' tyke, but now they are a blue-grey greenish color.

sad: dark blue
happy: bright green
tired: dull green
normal: greyish blue green

yeea, i don't really like my eyes... :lol:

~ and to all people who want brigher colored eyes(which generally makes then prettier) just eat red, orange, or yellow fruits an vegitables. There is a natural mineral or chemical in them than can make your eyes a brighter color over the years. So carrots don't help your eyesight, but they DO help your eye color!

~ and yes, all blue eyes people are related. Long ago the blue-eyed gene was actually a mutation. Before everyone had either brown(hazel) or green eyes. Soon it spread throughout Europe, being transfered rapidly through the generations. Ever wonder why so many Europeans have bright blue eyes? Well there you go.

ya. I have blue eyes too. And ya I read an article on the net saying that all blue eyed ppl might be related becuase all of us have one common ansestor.

mine are like really realld dark for my family and it kind of scares my mom due to how her is all light and junk but then mine came out dead dark i mean very dark so you should see me in all black clothes its is so scary i love my eyes.

Kind of sounds like mine, except for the fact that instead of a small band of blue, I think I have a small dark green band instead [or at least, today I do xD I think it was blue yesterday xD]
