I still say that you should maintain the names that you feel more comfortable with. I'm thinking that for your story the prissy names will be best anyway.

Yeah, I've gotta say that the names fit the older versions of the puppies better than "Ruffy", "Fluffy" and "Scooter".

(Good Lord, "Fluffy" sounds like a CAT'S name for criminy's sake!)
I'll keep the L&T2 names.
And I think I'm purposefully going to eliminate the scene with Jim and Darling taking the family to visit with the Johnsons. Er, unless you just want to write an alternate version of that...especially with those corny old names

. ROFL Just let me know here...I'll try to wait for your reply as long as I can...
Yeah, Fluffy does sound like a cat's name . . . and I agree that the new names from SA do make them seem as fancy as their mother (especially since they look alike . . . Lady-clones LOL), just as Scamp reflects his obvious similarities to his father.
Well, in my fic adventure, the Prologue is pretty much that type of scene - showing the eagerness of the New England family's trip to an unknown place and Balto's family anticipating the arrival of their visitors. (As well as describing the puppies' feelings of having an adventure, thus leading to the main part of the tale . . . but I'll stop there before I give away secrets.)
Yes, and the crappy corny names shall stick! Bwahaha.
Still can't wait to see where you take this, JC!
