It will all be explained later? She was now confused. buuut she tried to push the thought out of her mind. She instead focused on Ringo. He looked very magnifacent as the sun started to set. She crept a bit closer to were she could almost touch him.

She noticed that Ringo was relaxed and crept until she was touchiing his fur. HEr heart raced & she kknew she would have to cooome up with a reason for coming so close. "Its getting a bit chilly out... huh?" She looked up into his eyes. They were blazing as the sun reflected off them.

Suddenly Shy saw Zero jump to her feet & run off. And with out even taking a minute to think she knew it was because of her. She stood up and moved away from Ringo. This was her fault. Zero liked Ringo and she had ruined it.

She smiled shyly at Ringo. But deep inside she felt the guilt that she was the one who had caused all this trouble. She looked in the direction Zero had gone and sighhed. 'I'm sorry if I'm causing trouble..." she murmured. But slowly she started to move closer to Ringo. She looked at him and again started to doze.

"What trouble? Zero's just a little...jealous. That's all." he explained, grinning to himself while pretending not to notice Shy moving closer to him. "She just likes a lot of attention and we weren't giving her any." Ringo finished, oblivious as ever to Zero'sfeelings for him.

Shy realized that Ringo must not have known about how Zero felt about him. She looked at him and sighed again. She moved slowly closer still though. Closer until their fur was touching again. 'This isn't right' she thought. But something urged her forward.

Shy heard the loud shriek and knew it was from Zero. She knew she should go and see what was wrong but then part of her told her to stay with Ringo. 'What am I doing?' she thought. She looked at Rongo with agony in her eyes. What would Ringo do?

Shy ran after Ringo almost keeping pace with him. Either something was wrnog or this was an attempppt to get Ringo back. All she knew was that she was taking Ringo away from Zero. But part of her was ok with that. 'It's Zero's own fault she never told Ringo her feelings' she thought.

Shy soon appeared at the seen & was shocked by the amount of blood. She had made it just in time to hear Zero mumble a growl. She sunk back a bit, not wanting to make her any more mad then she was. But she felt the urge to help the injured wolf. She walked up to look at her paw. "It's broken all right...that will take a long time to heal.. we should get you some were covered for the night..." she murmured.

Ringo smiled at Shy, then turned back t Zero. "I think that would be best..." he sighed and bent down, nudging his head under Zero's front leg to support her. "We shouldn't wander to far from the rest of the pack." he said, starting to walk back towards the den. "Kiska will be wondering where we went off to..." he murmured. "Any other suggestions Shy?" he ased in the deadly serious way he had.

She looked at Ringo. She didn't know were anything was! She was new here. "I guess we should head over to the den then..." She hoped it wouldn't be that far away. Being that Zero only had three paws to travel on. She looked into Ringo's eyes, they were serious but yet she could smell the fear coming off of him. She knew that Ringo still cared alot about Zero. And for some odd reason that strangely disapointed her.

Ringo noded his head. "Alright then, lets get there before dark..." He continued to walk along, taking heavey steps while supporting Zero. His tail swished behind him as he noticed Shy looking very distant, almost disappointed. He stopped and gazed at her. "Is everything alright Shy?" he asked, but deep within the recesses of his mind he knew exactly why she looked so disapointed. He shifted uncomfortably as Zero's weight was begining to tire him out.

Her head snapped up as she heard Ringo's question. "what? oh yeah.. um.. yeah I'm fine..." She stared at the ground as they walked. She didn't want to show her emotion so she looked in the opposit direction of Ringo. But then she realized that they would be coming to the den were the other members of the pack would be. Would they accept her?

Zero gently lifted her injured paw away from Ringo so he wouldn't have to support her anymore. "I'm fine..." she whispered and hobbled ahead of the two. Her head was bent awkwardly and her ears were pinned flat against her skull. Her orange eyes drooped as she gazed down at the ground she was placing her paws on. She sighed and whinced when a blast of pain shot through her paw but she tried to ignore it. She switched sides so she was on the left side of Ringo and only her black fur was showing so maybe he wouldn't see the dissapoinment in her face.

Shy looked at the forest ahead. Then she thought of something to talk about. "My father told me of how strange wolves that would eat other wolves lived in this valley. But then the they were driven out." She looked at Ringo, "did you ever hear that story?" She didn't know if the legend was true or not. She wasn't even sure if he had heard of it.
