Arcaine was just watching her pack calmly,until she jumped on Dan in a playful attempt at scaring him."Did it work,Danny?" Only she called him Danny. The charm around her nec kmade a light twinging sound as she jumped around,laughing gleefully.

Mist looked around, uncertain about the amount of dogs gathering around them. "I'm Mist," she said to Daelie. "That's Dan, Luke, Adolfo, and..." She looked at the coyote that had joined them, not sure who she was at all.
Dan laughed as he playingly pushed Arcaine off of him. He looked at Mist. "Arcaine," he said, introducing the coyote to everyone. "We'v been traveling together."

Arcaine nuzzled Danny quickly and padded over to Mist,bowing her head,"Hi. Im Arcaine." She said,standing up straight,her tail swishing to and fro,strong limbs quivering,waiting to run or play.

"A pleasure to meet all you" said Adolfo while lying on his back looking for a comfortable position. Adolfo was about to drift off to sleep when he spotted Alex from a distance "Can I help you?" he asked with a bit of hostility in his voice.

Alex froze. After he had gotten past Jacob and his search party, he had been a little careless about sneaking around. He hid in the bushes and called, "Sorry! Didn't mean to stumble upon you. I'll go." He started sneaking away but kept his body close to the ground so Mist wouldn't see and reconize him.
"Wait!" Mist called the the bush the wolf had disappeared behind. She reconized his voice from somewhere. "Come out here," she said gently.
Dan smiled at Arcaine, but turned his head toward the wolf. When Mist stopped him, he looked at her with a confused face. Just let him go if he wants to leave, Dan thought.

"You got something to hide there, friend? Come on out" said Adolfo, with the usual impatience in his voice. Adolfo took a hostile position as if he was going to charge the mysterious dog hiding in the bushes.

Alex sighed in frustration. "Fine!" he yelled out at them. "Have it your way." He walked out of the bushes and sat in front of them. "Happy?"
Mist's eyes went wide. "Alex?" she asked in disbelief, though she knew it was him.
"Who's Alex?" Dan asked Mist.
Mist looked at Dan. "My, no.... used to be my friend."

Luke looked at the other canines. He looked at the other coyote but really didn't know he was a coyote hybred. He looked at Alex. "Hi, I'm Luke, do you know my momma?" he asked, nuzzling Mist.

"Momma, huh?" Alex said, a mocking look on his face that was directed toward Alex. "I leave you for three weeks, and look at the mess you've got yourself in."
Mist glared at Alex. "He's not really mine. But I've adopted him because I have heart, unlike some people." She mumble this last bit under her breath.
"What was that?" Alex said, already annoyed with her games.
"Nothin of you concern," she said sweetly, smiling innocently at him.
Dan looked from Alex to Mist and back again. How in the world did they know each other?

Dan looked from Daelie to Mist and said, "That's what I want to know."
Mist sighed, still angry at Alex for coming in the first place. "Everyone, this is Alex. He is part of my old pack and for some reason has the nerve to come and find me."
"And you'll be glad I did," Alex said smugly. "You don't want Jacob to find you, do you?"
Mist looked at Alex in shocked surprise. "He's looking for me?"
