Name: Kishen (Kish or Kishie for short)
Age: 8 months (now, at least)
Gender: Male
Breed: Malamute/Husky mix
Personality: Shy and in his own world most of the time. He can also be quite a bit bipolar, as one moment he can take after his father and be the biggest teddy-bear of a pup in the world, and the next he can take after his grandfather Steele and be a bit cranky, but nothing more. Despite his tendency to act out of it and quiet, Kishen is very intelligent.
History:Kishen is the "middle pup" of the litter and thinks of himself as out of the big picture. Since not being very social, he usually stuck to a quiet place and talked to himself when growing up. The other dogs don't know what to make of him, so they tended to stay away, not knowing that all that Kish wanted was a friend to talk to.
Kish stayed very close to his father before he got sold to a family living in Anchorage. Suffering from seperation anxiety, Kish wasn't able to be housetrained and was sold again. This time, the owner was a rough-around-the-edges old man who owned and raced dogs for a living. The man, Hank, kept Kish as a companion, since his changing emotions weren't much use for sledding. Hank also owned Matches, a kind-spirited dog who took care of Kish like a mother.
Name: Aoi (Pronouced like "Ahoy" I believe, and means "blue" in Japanese)
Age: 3 (dog) years older than Ralph
Gender: Female
Breed: Siberian Husky
Personality: Sweet and gentle, very confident and open-minded.
History: Aoi was originally a dog for a Japanese owner (explains the name) and was trained to Japanese commands. When her owner sold her to Kishan's owner, she was confused and had to re-learn simple commands, this time in English. The other sled dogs made fun of her for not understanding commands, so she decided to show them how smart she really was. She caught on quickly to commands and was placed as wheeldog on Kishan's team. They became fast friends, and later mates. Her first litter were all stillborn, and she was scared when she became pregnant a second time. Having only one pup, Ralph, she retired from sledding to take care of him.
Origin of the character: (for Ralph's mother) Race dog on Kishan's team.
