you have a great point JerseyCaptain but i use them but i really don't use it or do a mistake when i do use them.. i only use the pinch when i foster dogs from the shelter at home. Shylo, my German Shep is the eldest and teaches the foster pups/dogs from right to wrong but she's 7 now and i don't use the pinch on her anymore and normally i only used the pinch when i go for long leash walks cuz they tend to listen better with the pinch's even the first time they used it they just like behaved (not because i threatened them or scared them with it before) i don't know maybe it's the feeling of the hookings on it. I'm just saying how i use them not saying all people use em for that reason or other reasons i just don't like to be misjudged or misunderstood when the facts and such aren't true and people brag about it saying " you're so cruel !" or like " stop abusing your dogs don't you see it hurts them!! " .. if it really did hurt the dog the dog would yelp or whimper ? right .. ?? .. well just saying that cuz not the first time i've been judged that way when i don't do that to my dogs. My dogs are my family and i would never hurt them for any reason.

I agree Jersey, fully. Many people think they're doing fine but wonder why the dog cowers when the collar is either put on or clipped on..most people don't even know they are hurtning the dog...but heres the thing...so many don't want to admit to it...because they coudln't bear the thought of themselves abusing thier own friend

ye my dogs don't pull like i've said before they've behaved on it the moment they wore it (maybe because of the hookings i don't know i'm not a professional nor in their minds) XD .. they used to pull only as puppies until i trained them around a year even less with treats and clicker and worked out fine after a month .. but as i said i like never use it and they don't pull on it.. and i've never heard a case where a collar has pierced the dogs flesh and include dogs pull even harder with nylon collars from what i've seen.. people have been dragged and pulled by their own dogs even if the dog is knee high.. which is quite heartless to say.. just showing that the person who owns the dog can't control it nor doesn't have the proper time to train it. I've seen a lot in those cases even in pet stores where you can bring your pets in.. i see people pulling so hard on the dog that you can't hear it breath anymore .. kinda shocking though .. but hey your opinion on the pinch collars but i don't hurt my dogs.. i'd kill myself for them XD !! but we're sort of off topic right?? since this has nothing to do with Ceasar Millan ... :eye: and i've never seen my dogs cower.. besides to men they all cower to when men come around (like they crouch or go around them while they bristle)

oh i've never seen that one but 2 of my co-workers were talking about it and explained what happened and i'm glad i missed that episode i hate seeing animals being treated that way or any wrong way in fact.. even to the animals we get here at the Humane Society i just wanna find those people and treat them the way they treated the dog or cat.. no dog or animal deserves anything like that.. it's funny it's against the law that we do it our kids or any human but it's appropriate for a person to do so to a dog!!!? it's outrageous and cold..

The episode is still there and it still shows that Cesear really doesn't care... there is a law against animal abuse but it does surprise me that there are so many things trainers get away with. I guess its becuase they call themselves "professional trainers" or whatever...Cesear didn't get in trouble because he and the owner blamed the behavior on the dog...plus they probably didn't want to ruin Ceaser's reputation...it sickens me that people get away with so much that animal cops would probably arrest them for

yes very true.. i saw an episode i think where this lady was freaking out when the dog was pulling and Ceasar was pulling or tugging the dog and the lady sat there surprised and i was like... holly geez  .. and Ceasar reassured her saying " the dog is fine " or something close to that.. i was like.. ERM THE DOG is choking ?!?!?!. i was just shocked and dazed by that .. i don't exactly recall the dog breed but i think was a mastiff or something was a big dog
