Didn't you say, in this topic in the Animal board: http://baltosource.timduru.org/board/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=21525, the following: Black-Wolf-Soul wrote: i myself have Inuit blood From my limited experience with the Inupiaq peoples ("Inuit" being simply another name for them, or a portion of them), they always teach their children their native language(s). It's a tradition in their cultures. How is it that you missed out on that? hehe ye but i don't speak it though .. i am part native but i don't know how to speak didily squat of it ... and to the second thing ye but i have a bit of it in me am not 100% lol like i said i have inuit blood but not all.. hehe careful JC oh and i forgot to add that my grandparents moved from Nunavut to Quebec coast but i never met my grandad (who was the one native) nor my grandma since they died after a few years my second brother was born.. so i get Shadowe to teach me.. haha

Granted that learning a second language or more opens up a wider range of jobs you can qualify for, i find learning any other language to be a never-ending headache.
Back in middle school for me(6th-8th) i tried taking French twice and Spanish once. Failed them all extremely hard. When i got to high school, my freshman year i didn't take a forign language. But last year, my sophmore year, i tried taking Spanish again. This time, i didn't even come close to passing. I got a 10 on my final exam.
Im taking Latin right now and i've gotta admit it. It sucks! For me at least. We're not even very far into the lessons and i'm struggling. My teacher told me i've got the lowest grade out of all her students. In case anyone is curious, it's a 46.

Thats a dead Language. And exactly what is "PURE English"? My years of studying languages, and understanding the history of the English language, indicates that no such thing exists. English is a conglomeration of several languages, and borrowed words FROM other languages. And it has gone through centuries of evolution...and various dialects and forms. And it's root language would be utterly befuddling to you (and most readers). Hmm... Miss-worded the "Pure" bit... "Original English"? It has changed ALOT, and we all know why...
