If you can rate this movie 1-5 what would it be?

5, probably. I FINALLY got it for DVD and it's been one of my absolute favorites since I was just a little kid. I think it may not be the BEST animated movie ever, but, it's pretty good.

I said 'Awesome'. I love the film, and it ranks among my favorites, but it's not number one.
...I don't really HAVE a number one. They just generally tie and then alternate with what I'm in the mood for.

I gave Balto a 5, although I am not sure if I agree that it is the greatest movie ever. But I do think that the movie was amazing and just about perfect

2 - OK.

It's a nice film and all, but I'm just sick of it now. It has nice animation (to an extent.. the background characters are horribly animated) and has a nice story - and I LOVE Steele.

To be honest, I would've preferred it if they'd stuck more to the true story. i.e. - Balto wasn't half wolf (mainly because i'm so sick of hearing "I LOVE BALTO BECAUSE HES A WOLF AND WOLFS ARE AWESOME!!!!!!!!"), but a purebred husky instead, and Togo - the REAL hero of Nome - would've been another one of the main characters, and so forth. As long as they'd have managed to fit Steele in, it would've been perfect. xD

And the background characters' animation needed improvement. the background humans just.. scare me. And all the dogs are really fat - too fat to be huskies. They all looked like Chows.. it bothers me. -_-'

meh, it's my opinion. Live with it. I'm sticking with The Lion King.

As much as i'm a great fan of Balto i give it a FOUR STAR MARK because there were some screw-ups, but no Movie is prefect, no movie... Not even TITANIC!

I agree , I don't have a favorite... In fact i don't even believe in favorites.

Probably four and a half. ^^ It's a really good movie but it shouldn't have started and ended with the live action.. they could have squeezed something nice with Balto and Jenna in the end with that minute or so.
