I chose maybe. Sure Balto is a very nice guy, but he isn't stupid, so he would still be wary around Steele. He might put Steele on probation for a little while, just to see if he is good to his word.

Depends on how it's done and who you're asking. If he just turned up as a good guy for no reason, anybody with any interest in plot would say "lame." And no matter how it was done, well or poorly, there are those who would say lame anyway. But if there were some feesable explanation behind his change, it could be a good extension of his character (kind of like when Darth Vader turned against the emperor).

*Giggles* I haven't got a clue WHAT your trying to tell me, with your Darth Vader analgoy, but it would be like Vader begging to the good side for forgivness. Weird, right? So what would be a good reason to kill Steele's character?

In a sense, Darth Vader did beg the good side, or at least Luke, for forgiveness. He may not have said as much, but he plainly desired to be reconciled with his son before he died.
What I'm trying to say with the analogy is simply this: Darth Vader's change from bad to good made sense because he loved his son, Luke. There was a clear, discernable cause and effect, specific to his character within that situation. A drastic change in action or personality almost always has some definite reason. So what would be neccessary for Steele to turn good, logically, is a motive and situation that would provide that reason in a manner specific to him. Does that make more sense?

Sigh, i guess so. i still think Steele would NEVER apologize to Balto, that would kill the Beautiful Bad Boy side to him.

I've never been able to see beauty in someone who would kill a bunch of kids to boost his ego. I can appreciate Steele's villany, and agree he's one of those bad guys who probably just weren't meant to be good. But as I've said before, I never understand people who treat bad like it's good, if you see what I mean.
