Wonderful comparison and analysis, Jersey ^.^ I remember reading this book years ago, in middle school, and I remember thinking about how different it was in comparison to the movie. It always bothered me a little on the inside, even though I liked both of them. I must say, the larger affinity that I have is to the book; the story is just so much better! But I did like the way that the Shrew, Mr. Ages, and Jeremy were more humorous in the movie. As far as Justin's apparent death went - I've never personally thought he died. I don't have any evidence that would point to the contrary, but I find it hard that such young, strong rat like him wouldn't have managed to get away, even with the people from NIMH there. *shrug* But, that also could be because he was my favorite character
