Still and always will be Balto for me. I don't know much about Wolf's rain except that its a tv show which is an anime, that's about it. I can't say whether that show is good or bad, but what I do know is that Balto is and always will be a hero of mine along with being one of my all-time favorite movies and a great American story.

i like them both

they aren't really comparable imo...
Balto is balto one of my favorite animated movies
Wolfs Rain is one of my favorites animes
balto is a kid friendly movie with a good story/ moral behind it
wolfs Rain is pretty much the opposite of kid friendly but has a good story

im still gonna have to say both :)

i find it silly people compare two completely different story lines of shows/movies

Balto:
Movie
No swearing/gore/sexual content
Has inspiring moments
Good storyline
bout wolfdogs

Wolf's Rain:
anime tv series
gore (and i think some swearing and sexual content. but not certain)
Bout shape shifting wolves who can be humans

The only similarities is both are good in peoples opinion but also meh in others
Has wolves in em but Balto is always animal and wolfs rains is shape shift

Not much else to say. we should compare these to the more obvious. this is like asking

Kid Movie or Adult Anime
Friendly and nice or Gorey and fighting
Series or Movie

Sorry just its annoying since its easy to answer with other things

I think why they made this topic, Zi, is because many who watch Balto, have also watched (or considered watching) Wolf's Rain.
I'd agree that the compare is kinda out there considering Wolf's Rain is for the more adult audience, but the younger will watch it anyways... and I used too and still like both >.>
