I dont think ice glaciers or even ice blocks move due to the wind. They move according to the tide and the tide moves according to the gravitational pull of the moon and all sea's have various currents so someone with better knowledge then me might actually be able to know where Aleu would end up if he/she knew where they left from. Also I'd doubt they'd end up 'anywhere', a big block of ice moving to the equator would'nt happen and ice melts easily above sub zero temperatures.

In my opinion, I don't think she went THAT far from Nome . . . probably somewhere in the wilderness near White Mountain or something. (If I had a map or a diagram of Alaska, I could prove something . . .)
But yeah, it's hard to say exactly where ALeu and her new pack went . . . that's why God made Fanfiction writers. LOL

I agree that she could have gone anywhere...she really could be in South Africa, for all we really know...lol. And it would be funny if she floated back to Balto's boat.
