Do you think Steele is supposed to be Togo?

Yes and no. I think they're alike but I don't think Steele was meant to be Togo. I think that they just wanted a villan and when they did little did they know, there was really a dog that was similar to Steele.

Well, I believe his point is JC, that Steele and Togo are both in the serum run. And remember when they fell down that cliff thing. Balto took the medicine.

Honestly, I believe that if Steele was to be based off of Togo, they would have menchined it in the doucumentary. And if you have watched the documentary, you would know that Steele wasn't even menchined and neither was Togo.

I would say no. It seems to me that the movie's director and the producers didn't know about Togo. Or, well, maybe they knew but they concentrate on the figure of Balto because it was more famouse.
