Name: Trinket Age: 3 Gender: Female Breed: Siberian Husky/Gray Wolf hybrid Parents: Flint & Elysium Siblings: Sophie, Hermes Personality: She hasn't been told that she's part wolf, so Trinket acts very proud of her bloodline despite not being able to name her father. She doesn't mind going anywhere as long as it's relatively clean. She's generally very caring but also tries to charm the males a lot, and tends to stick to the ones it works on, much like her mother. She can be vain and often touching up that little bit of dirty fur on her self, but never on another unless they were fine with it. History: Trinket was sold off at a young age to a young adult named Aliana. She had previously been in the care of Elysium's musher whom took care of Elysium during the pregnancy. He got a shock when he noticed they were half wolf so he tried to sell the litter off as quickly as possible, not mentioning that they weren't purebred husky. Trinket's younger brother Hermes wasn't bought so the musher trialled him in the sled team for a few months but later threw him onto the streets as a stray. Trinket often took notice of male dogs even as a young pup but only the handsome looking ones to her. Often street mutts would come up to her but Aliana would scare them away. Elysium also disapproved of Trinket or Sophie going anywhere near them, claiming they only caused trouble. Hermes always suspected that their father was the gray wolf Flint, but Trinket never believed this, as she couldn't possibly be a mangy halfbreed. He always seemed to raise some good points, example why would Elysium be so anti-mixbreeds, but Trinket still brushed them off. She grew up believing she was pure husky and took pride in it, but she cared a lot about her love interests if they were in doubt or worrying. For now she's single, but likes to charm the guys a lot, especially JT. Origin of the character: When I was writing Fast As A Bullet (well, what I got done of it anyway) I decided to have a twist and have Elysium and Flint have pups together. Of course Flint would still end up with Vesper so there would be some half-sibling hate. Trinket was one of the pups, the pampered middle pup. Her colors used to be a bit different (a darker brown and yellower underfur) but as I changed Elysium's colors recently I changed all her pups' as well.

Fixed the picture up a bit as her cheek fur was a bit on the wolfish side to me.

Name: Dalila Age: a year and a half Gender: female Breed: Akita Personality: A total tomboy! She is very street smart and knows the town like the back of her "paw". She does have a stubborn side though. But she does have a secret admiration for nature. For example during the spring she enjoys running through the flower fields & counting stars on clear nights. She can have a big mouth too so she finds it challenging to keep a secret. Though when it comes to flirting she couldn’t care less. She has a few guy friends, most of them working dogs. And it’s very apparent that some want to be more than friends, although she doesn’t notice. History: Born a stray Dalila was raised in an alley as a puppy. Then at the age of about 1 month her parents left her. To this day she still does not know why. But she became brave & self-confident allowing her to succeed. She always wanted to play with the boy puppies (like any tomboy would), but they all rejected her because she was a girl. Furious that they exiled her due to her gender, she did everything possible to prove that girls were just as good as boys. But in her efforts she drove other female dogs away from her since she wasn’t considered an actual “girl” anymore. So she tends to keep away from most females. Origin of the character: I made her about 3 years ago... way back when I was doodling my first characters. I actually almost made her my main character but I had other ideas I guess. But she seemed quite suitable for the contest. Hope you like her! http://baltosource.timduru.org/art/Cott ... 6-245.htmlsorry my old mac computer wont let me put it directly up here... XP

Name: Sakari Age: 2 ½ Gender: Female Breed: Alaskan malamute Personality: Many people make fun of Sakari because she is albino which has made her aloof and not very friendly. She is very highly strung and gets wound up very easily. She tends to snap at people who get on her nerves. She is quite insecure because of being abandoned when she was young; she tries to cover up this by acting confident and outgoing. She does have a softer side and would stand up for the few she considers true friends. She is stubborn and headstrong and hates people she considers “sheep” as in people who follow and have no originality or personality of their own. When she is around with people she is comfortable with she is fun, friendly and energetic as she likes to run. Not much of an optimist. History: At a really young age, Sakari was abandoned by her parents because she was albino. An old Siberian husky couple found her and raised her as their own. Many people made fun of her and she never had many friends. When she first met John Tom she thought he was stuck up and didn’t really like him. As time went on she saw a different side and she began to really like him. She considers him as one of her true friends. Origin of the character: I have had Sakari for a little while now. I always wanted an albino character so I decided to create one. I gave her the name Sakari, meaning sweet.

Name: Maggie Age: one year younger than JT Gender: Female Breed: Not known clearly but she’s husky and a bit of Icelandic sheepdog. Other is unknown Personality: She is a very clumsy dog who has trouble getting a day by without doing anything awkward. Even though she is like a fool most times she is a very sweet and happy. She acts silly around those she knows without realising it but those who see her acting like that thing she has a problem. History: She is the daughter of Melody but who is her father is unknown. She is from a second litter along with Ruby. They were the only two that got born. She didn’t get raised by her parents and her father (Cobalt or she though he was but no one knows) ignored her along with her sister completely. They both thought it was something they did but never knew what. After being raised by a woman named Elizabeth until the age of 9 weeks the lady gave them away to two different homes. Maggie got adopted by a small boy at the age of seven. He didn’t have any friends and his mom wanted to give him one (she didn’t want a male dog because of how he might act when he grew up). Maggie loved the boy and he loved her and they are almost always together. He is like her very clumsy (one of the reasons he doesn’t have friends). Ruby and Maggie meet sometimes and one day they met two male dogs (brothers) they were still just pups and Ruby and Dino (one of the brothers) got along very well and became very good friends. But Maggie didn’t seem to get the attention she wanted from the other boy. He mostly ignored her, which kind of disappointed Maggie. But as they grew up Maggie got more attractive to JT, she considered him a friend but deep down she wanted more. Origin of the character: Well I think Ruby deserved a sister (not fun being an only child)

Since this contest is going on for a while, I done a small story/pic of Eclair and J.T out of bordem XD
The black female smiled proudly as she walked across the snow covered ground. Groups of dogs followed behind her in crowds. She enjoyed the attention and carried on walking. Her tail flicked from side to side as more dogs trailed after her. There was a scream from the dogs behind her. A familiar one. Several dogs stumbled to the side as a small purple dog bounded past them. Eclair stopped walking and twisted her head round, just in time to catch the small female bounce wildly to her side. ‘Congratulations and palpitations Eclair’ she barked, nudging at her collar. ‘Thank you Tan’ Eclair grinned, not shyly but boldly and proudly. The male dogs behind them barked and tried to lunge forward, only to be stopped by the rest of the struggling crowd. ‘Practically drooling at out feet” Tana smirked and bounced around excitedly. ‘Erg’ Eclair snorted as a large husky rolled onto her paw. She snatched it up and snorted at him loudly. Tana tried to hold back a laugh, ‘Come on let’s go’ She said and bounded to her feet, rushing away up the street. Eclair nodded and leapt over the crowds around her, beginning to run after her friend. She was fast. She knew that. Only a few minutes ago was she sitting on the highest stand, watching the flashing camera’s in the crowds. Yep, she though of herself as the queen of the contests. The angel of Agility, the ruler of the run, the queen of the course, so it didn’t take her long to reach up with Tana. ‘Hey lets go down here’ Tana suddenly came to a halt, sending snow flying into the air. Eclair followed her gaze. ‘There?” She said peering into a broken fence leading down into an alley. ‘Why not?” Tana strode forward and slipped with ease under the wood. ‘C’mon’ ‘Alright’ she smirked and followed her under. She tumbled into the snow the other side, and got up. The fence was old and high, and the sunlight was blocked by the building. It was dark, with only dapples of light escaping through the fence cracks, yet it was cooling and calming at the same time. Tana had already disappeared round the next corner. Éclair steadied herself and paced after her tracks. Her long ears pricked for any sounds. She shuddered. As she turned the corner she was relived to see the sun light over the town before her. Tana was hunched against a wall gazing at a group of larger, better looking males. Eclair sighed and shook her head. She placed her self next to Tana and studied the area. ‘Hey Eclair, you think there’s a right one for you?’ Tana barked, her gaze not parting from the dogs. Eclair smirked, ‘Maybe’ she smiled and lay down. There was a smashing sound, and the two females stared into the sounds direction. ‘What the...’ Tana stared at the crowds fussing and squabbling not to far away. But Éclair as distracted by something, or someone else. ‘Hey who’s that?” She nudged Tana and stared into another direction. Her tail wagged a tad as the male walked by. ‘Him?’ Tana spun her head to stare at the male, ‘You mean you haven’t met J.T?’ She sniggered, ‘That’s John Tom. His only the most cutabulas, Fanmazingest, Suptrundest male out there’ She barked, practically melting into the ground. Éclair stared closer, ignoring Tana. John Tom. ‘The name has a ring’ she murmured and sat down. Her ears lowered shyly. She watched his tail wag from side to side as he walked. She stared at his masked face, his eyes where both surrounded in black patches. His emerald eyes seemed to melt her. Tana sat up, ‘I hear that his looking for a lover’ She said, giving Éclair a hard nudge. ‘Well why don’t you go stalk him then’ Eclair smirked. ‘Well as a matter of fact I…’ Tana began. ‘Shush! Look’ Éclair took a step back. Her own grass green eyes met John Tom’s for a second. She gave a smile and stepped forward, staring at him. He stared back. The moment seemed to last longer than it was. But a few females had also discovered J.T, and where heading towards him. He turned to face them. Eclair tilted her head and sighed. ‘Love strike, I know it anywhere’ Tana announced to her friend. ‘You like him don’t you?’ She smirked. ‘Well. Yes. What of it?” Eclair said, a warning growl escaping her throat. ‘Let’s go’ Tana said and began to walk back down the alley. Eclair took a last look at J.T and smiled, before turning to follow Tana.
