Oy, people! It's not a hidden fact that Cat, Pample, and a lot of the 'popular' are extreamly talented, and their art inevitably inspires a lot of other people who want to improve their art. BUT...that doesn't mean that everyone is trying to be like them. So really it isn't worth getting your underwear in a wad.  Offenses aren't worth it in the long run.

Umm no. Let me tell ya again, like I said above, people focus on them (I don't care if I am listed or not) because they are the other artists' source of inspiration. Might sound dumb, but if you haven't noticed, 80 % of the galleries have Pample's and Cat's style built-up. People need to develop their own styles, not copy other styles and mix and match, but that's definitely not what I was trying to say in the first place... it was people "forgetting" to mention the lesser known artists, not how people are copying styles...  Lolz no XD you completely misunderstood me. I didn't say anything about copying, I said that people like those artist who have them as source of inspiration. Oh well my apologies if I annoy'd ya with it.  Because apparently you're not really satisfied with the situation regarding Fan Art Popularity on BS. o.O The only thing to make the less known good artists known, is if they DO it themselves, trying to advertise their stuff, or someone else, if they care a lot about others. Its not like a between life and death thing XP, just how good you are at advertising. Again I'm sorry.

I don't really believe that once can extend the safety or parrot the old saying that everyone is special, because in reality they are not, there are people who are specially trained in the art field and I believe it is almost an insult to totally throw off their hard work and talent, and just say "oh, everyone is good in their own way" Sure, everyone is unique if you want to think that, but not everyone is good at art.

I won't bother to explain in full why I said that but most people are just listing their favourite artists and smacking a 'unique style' sticker on them. Anywho, each to his own...
