Okay, I asked Splash a simple question, and I wasn't quite expecting her lawyers to jump in.

If you wanna hunt; fine. I have nothing against hunting. I'm just curious about a REASON. To kill simply for the sake of killing is very BARBARIC and those who do it are...dare I say it...monsters. No different then a man who murders other humans simply because he gets a thrill off of watching blood spill. People who kill animals (WHATEVER animal it may be) for no reason is a murderer.

Drop that subject, and get back on topic!
This rant was originally made by the OP that he/she didn't like people screaming "i hate wolves!!!!!!" in their posts, not who does what, and naming and shaming is also quite forbidden.

But Silverstrike is right, we were just splitting hairs. The entire point had come past some posts ago: Pro hunting peeps won't get banned, but they'll have to learn to live with the fact that their opinions won't make them popular (so expect more anti hunting topics over the course of time), as the general mood here is pro wolf.
On a new point: it's one thing to have a pro hunting opinion, but let us be frank; some members aren't really polite in the way they bring forth that point. It's one thing for anyone to be pro hunting, but just don't come screaming it in my face. Use some sugar coating; the overall mood here is still pro wolf, after all.

ps and off topic: I don't think Italy is that bad off qua free speech. I mean, having the granddaughter of Mussolini (!) in the European Parliament running on her granddad's program? I don't think you can (or should) go more free speech than that in any civilized society.

I agree. Gosh, this site is about Balto. He's half wolf, for Pete's sake! You have to at least have a little bit of respect for these creatures.

Okay, I understand that we can't change everyone's opinions-even if those people who hunt wolves are hunting endangered species. And I know some people on this site hunt wolves, and even though I don't approve of it, their feelings obviously can't be changed.

What I'm saying is that I'm kinda half-and-half on this. Yes, ths site is mostly about wolves, yes, I think it is wrong to hunt them (hey, it's my opinion,after all, they're endangered...) and yes, people should have respect for them.

But it's difficult to change the minds of those who do it. Some people might think it's right to kill them (I have no idea why, though...) or they might just do it like some people hunt deer or quail. There is always going to be some conservationists and some hunters.

Also another thing to think on-notice most of the people on this site have "Wolf" in their names. So I'm guessing at least a lot of them have some respect for these creatures. I think most people who join the site like wolves. But you made your point-people who join have to have at least a little respect for them.

but these people just seem like they just want attention, I mean there is even a church that goes out and protests things so they can be on the news. Nothing is sacred.

I don't think he's trying to 'hate you for it.' I respect your choice and all, but why do you want to hunt wolves? We're just curious.

I asked a simple question (as has everybody) which YOU seem to be avoiding at all cost; simply because you don't have an answer, which makes some wonder if you're being truthful at all. There's no need to freak out; you don't even HAVE to answer anything, but it will cause others to question your honesty.

Like I said, you need to calm down. No one is picking on you, we're all just very curious.

I feel like you're doing the wrong choice, but that's just me. I feel like you should get to your senses and ask yourself why you want to hunt wolves so much. Have they hurt you, in any context? Traumatic childhood event, etc?

I do respect your choice, Bloody aka Strawberry Splash, though I do not like it. If you want others to get off your back, you should try to specify exactly -why- you wish to hunt wolves.

I gather you're doing it for the sake of it.

I'd urge you to reconsider, as that's not particularly a really good reason, but if you must... you seem pretty determined, just try not to make them suffer and learn how to make clean kills. I'm sure you'll be a good hunter :/
