I've been single since eighth grade and am now a senior. My last (and sadly first girlfriend) decided to break up together near the end of the year when we were coming back from a trip to New York our school had. I'm good friends with her now but it's still a little awkward for the two of us.

Will it always be like that or is there something I can do to make it better between us?

I know some people who remian very close to their ex's. It all just depends on both people's personality types. Time may change things, though. I've never had to expierence anything like that personally, but one of my best friends became good friends with his ex after being broken up for a while.

And me? I have an amazing boyfriend. <3 We've been together for about a year and a month (lol). He's my first boyfriend, too. Strangely enough, I met him at work. (They aren't lying, you find love in the most obvious of places, but the place you would probably look last).

My friend is going to try to hook me up with this one guy I like. ^^ She says that most of the time she hooks her friends up with someone they like it works out.

I've known my girlfriend for a long time too, 1st grade.

One girl I used to like was my friend since we were six(still are friends) and for a long time I liked her but the feelings weren't mutual in that way. One of the reasons it never worked out for us is because we knew each other for a long time and we didn't want to ruin or friendship.

I think it's great that you guys can keep those relationships strong for so long but it sounds like it would change your friendship/relationship completly if you separated(I don't hope that any of you do by the way) it's just that that happened to one of my good friends; and having a relationship with someone you have known/were good friends with can sometimes end badly if you don't stay together.

My older sister however is a different story.She has been with her BF for 2 or more years.However,they are breaking up and have been for a while now.Just last night,they had an arguement wuth her Bf wanting to settle things out,but she refused to even give him a ride home.She in a way has 2 or 3 boyfriends.
I should have said this a while ago.

Meh, I ain't going out with anyone atm, the last person I went out with was a Girl called Emily, we went out from a week before I left year 6, untill xmas. Non since then, but still - I have admitted who I fancied at school, not sure where thats going to leed us though.
