O.K., fine then, I'm EXTREMELY sorry for anything offensive that I might have posted towards you guys, O.K.??? This is just one of the very few topics that I am a sworn "freedom fighter" against, so to speak; it's just my instinct on how to react towards the issue, that's all, and I can't resist the urge to post my opinion no matter what the price may be no matter how hard I try to, alright??? And finally, the biggest reason I hate this argument between both world views is because it can destroy good friendships (or, it could also be vice-versa as well...) by realizing that your friend's "true colors" are opposite of your's on an issue that certain people (like me) take very seriously. So, my apoligies go out to Yupik, Shebawolf1, and anyone else who's offended by my posts in the slightest way or manner possible, O.K.; just don't lock this thread, Mods, for I've forgave, will (hopefully...) be forgiven, and my posts will all be soon forgotten (again, hopefully...), so to everybody else here: "LET'S ALL MOVE ON NOW; BACK ON TOPIC!!!!!!!" -Charlie.

there is a video about this that my youth pastor has... if I could only remember what alot of it was about thats was like three years ago... but this guy did talk about how some speicies of dinosuar are still alive & the whole creation verses evolution topic. Evolution was acctually proven false around 20 years ago or something like that but the schools still teach it because they want to be politically correct.

Everyone has a right to their opinion, but that the theory of evolution would be scientifically proven wrong is just a whole lot of baloney. The US is ruled be a creationist government, so if any evidence would exist to disprove of the theory of evolution, it would be taught in schools all across the US by now, not just in some obscure private schools.

'Evolution' has nothing to do with 'creation'. The scientific part of 'creation would be 'abiogenesis'. This is a common mistake by most creationists. Evolution is the theory how one animal develops to another over time. Abiogenesis is the (what its name says) 'anti biological development' of life. @ Cotton: No, evolution is NOT proven false. At all it is proven as CORRECT. There are mountains of evidence for evolution. You will understand what I mean if you study biology et cetera ad infinitum. @muk&luk: no sense? study biology and it WILL make sense, belive me. (I did not study biology (yet?) but such things are also a big part of my hobby)

Creation mostly. Maybe a bit of evolution. Togo wrote: To Cogitor and Muk&Luk: if you said WHY you believe in creation we could talk about it, and I would tell you why you are wrong! Well Togo, for once, we differ! Like the thread creator said, believe and let believe. There is no "wrong" here. But if you're curious about my reasons, it's because the beliefs about creation tend to flow together. If you can listen open-mindedly, then read on. Elsewise, don't bother! Why is it that we can think, feel, and reason moreso than animals can? Because we were made in His likeness. Have you heard of a wolf inventing a new electronic? Why do they not have their own technology? Because of the reason listed above. I disagree with evolution because we would've had to evolved the ability to reproduce before the first human died. How can we have reproductive organs without evolving them? <EDIT> Hopefully I can explain that better. My wording is hard to understand...

Evolution has been proved to be right from Miller's experiment. You're saying "I believe in it because I believe in it", and it's like putting someone in prison without any evidence. To Charlie wolf: this isn't your first off topic, I've warned you already... Don't abuse too harshly, Togo, and who the heck is "Miller"?!?!?! -Charlie.

I hope I got that sentence right: All I see is that you did not understand evolution. Who says that animals before did not have those organs? That would be pure nonsense, because they still do have them. (They had to reproduce too) So the evolution from ape to human does not mean that they have to develop them again. We still hve them from the one before (the apes).

About my reproduction argument: It is believed we came from chimpanzees. The first chimpanzee. How did it reproduce? Did a female chimpanzee just happen to emerge at the same time it did? That is highly, highly unlikely. It has to reproduce for the species to survive. Both the male and the female needed to have reproductive organs or else the species would become extinct after the first one emerged. It's too unlikely for that to happen in my opinion.
Hope that makes better sense.
