Sheesh, why can't we just stop all this arguing and get back onto the topic of hyenas? I think that this topic should be locked.

You're right, Togo. I probably should have. Won't happen again ^.^
Back on topic, how about those hyenas? Very interesting creatures huh? It's almost a shame that they're scavengers mostly. I wonder how they would hunt if they had to rely on hunting for food all the time?

Spotted hyenas hunt 80% of their food. They are very powerful hunters and are coursers, much like wolves and Afrcan Wild Dogs. It's the smaller hyena species, such as the striped and brown hyenas that scavenge mostly, and the Aardwolf is an insectivore.

THAT's very interesting, see I didn't know that about the different types of hyenas. (Banzai, Shenzi and Ed are spotted ones, I assume?)

Yep, they are spotted hyenas, and a pretty poor portrayal too. But, then again, TLK is just a film... They did make a TV series about hyenas, it's called Hyena Queen. It played on Animal Planet earlier this year.

I won't lock the topic, but from now on talk about the hyenas. Hey, I made all of these posts in the same day, before you came online, and then I leave and you came and judged them all at once, so: "C'mon, dude, give a guy a break and a chance to stop making similar posts before reprimanding him so severely; it'll make both of our jobs here a bit easier now, don't you think???" Besides, I'm not normally like this, anyways; only when I'm very offended will I ever act like this [and from now on, I'll try my absolute best not to], just so you know where I'm coming from, alright???) -Charlie. P.S. I'm in an exceptionally good mood today- "YIPPIE!!!!!!!"

On Animal Planet they should really make programs about hyena-life, I mean for those who wouldn't understand about them let's say. It'd be pretty fascinatin'. I didn't know that either, XD. I'd really like to watch a documentary on animal planet about them. And normally I don't like documentaries O.o

It would be neat if they made a series about them too, though. You don't happen to know any links to the 'animal planet' series, would you?
