Oh, I just wanna add one more thing. yeah i know its been a while but
This is for those who do not use an IM service, or who do not want to use and IM service for this reason or that. yes, I am looking *right* at you Blackwolfwsp ^^
Google's Gmail service has a nice new feature for those who know of what i Speak. You can now do a chat session with other gmail users. with just your browser open. You can also just use Aim Xpress, a java applet version of aim that requires no software download. But I like the gmail way. Right now you still need to be invited to sign up with Gmail service, but I have a crap ton of invites available if you so want to try it out.
Again, for those lazy punks, or punketts, this is just another option for you. I think Yahoo allows you to use an online interface. With all these options, there is absolutely no excuse for not using instant messager. Trust me, it makes a HUGE difference when you want to RP properly. When you *can't* chat with your co-rp'ers, it will not work out as well.
Shame that the long time running ghost white had to end, but there are reasons for everything. It helped me big time to chat with most of my fellow rp'rs, and when I couldn't...it was hard to coordinate where to go plot wise and all sorts of crap happens. Take it from me:
IM =
No IM =

Night, I wasn't lying when I said I couldn't join AIM! Maybe I should've just dropped out, but there's no point in getting upset since Ghost is long gone...-_- *sigh*

Yes!! I wish some of these new roleplayers would listen to people and STOP posting one liner posts!! Like: Alue shrugged. "I don't know..."She said.
Stuff like that!! That's just wasting space! It's really annoying, too. In my opinion, roleplays with only 1 or 2 line posts all the way through should be stopped at page 40...Because those are using up room where there are other rps that people actually post more than 2 lines...>< I'm not trying to insult anybody, but please!! I wish the 1 and 2 liner rps would just turn into 3, 4 & up liner rps.
Plus, I've seen a number of people, double post for no reason, (you know who you are, peeps) saying "GTG ppl". That's even more stupid....-_-

Ugh! I have noticed that even more, people are just posting small posts!! If you can't think of anything for the moment, take a break or something. There is no point in roleplaying if you're going to post little pointless one liner posts. That's not roleplaying. It wastes space for the rps that are worked more hardly on. No offense people, but it's been getting on my nerves. You nicely tell people as NICE as you can to try not to post one liners, and what do they do?? They don't listen. I'm tired of this. Now, if you REALLY can't think of anything much but one line, and you haven't rped in along long time, I can see that. But not when someone does this everyday, after someone warned them and after there has been a sticky topic about it.
I think one liners should be left for the roleplaying shoutbox on the Baltosource site.

To true! I don't like doing RPS, but I do enjoy reading them and it annoys me to no end that people put 1 & 2 line posts.

Its sad...some of these RP ideas have so much potential to be really fun, and then its muddled up with boring one liners, and I completely loose interest by the second or third post. Its not brain surgery to try and make a good post...you dont even have to use descriptive wording to make it interesting! You can make "sniffs around for food" into an interesting 4 sentence post easy. What else is your char doing...looking, walking, did he/she find something? If you actually put your mind into it and make half an effort, it comes out really good! Just TRY.

Ma'am. I've tried same. Everyone has in Accoutment called Plot thing. No use? No use simply. They doesn't listen. One liners there. Even 2 liners is very small and 3 Liner can be called as a post I think but not as good one.

I so agree. I try as hard as I can to make sure I have good long enough posts, and I know sometimes my posts are shot(hardly!) when I am very brain-dead, but that is rare. I mainly don't post until I know what to say, which is why it sometimes takes awhile for me to reply onto the roleplays because I want to make sure I am typing a good, non-boring, big post.
I don't know why it's so fun typing in: "she sees a dog and smiles "hello"." And I noticed alot of the roleplayers are not very detailed on their posts, mainly the one-liners. Also, I noticed alot of people saying "I". I mean .. wtf? You are not that dog your roleplaying, so why say "I"? That annoys me so much.
It's not very hard to type a good RP post, that is atleast kinda detailed, long, and pretty good spelling.

For me...sadly I can not write so good English, even I try...I always have my word order terribly mixed up at this time. Subject, Predicate, Object, way, time etc...this is often the one you should follow, well I might get FEW sentences correct like: We visited at the Planetarium to day. Erh...when go into detailed ones for me rolls empty
One who is delighted to use: Finnish Word Order in English=>Finnish/English

Yes, very annoying. I think mainly people post these for two reasons, They want to post quickly so the person who's in the RP with them can post again and it keeps going like that until one of them signs off. Trying to get in as many posts as they can so they don't think about adding detail or anything. The second reason is because they simply can't be bothered to add detail. I use to do it and at that time i wasn't at all good at writing. Balto Wolfdog wrote: Also, I noticed alot of people saying "I". I mean .. wtf? You are not that dog your roleplaying, so why say "I"? It's called 3rd person RP'ing. There's nothing wrong with it. It's just another style of writing. I don't do it but I've noticed people posting that way too. It's deffinatly as annoying as one lined posts.

I so love one RPing way, when there are several persons in one roleplay game, someone postes small one and rest bigger ones, it means that others char makes more things before one of the persons have wrote anything, this leads into confusion or into that thing that every person will drop their postes into minimal level...it bugs me seriously sometimes, before my large post there are like small story already xD
